What's the strangest thing you ever put your hair through? ^.^;;
Me? Well, in the summer I dyed it bright purple (temporary color >>)....and a couple months ago I cut my hair kinda short at home...by myself....and not with the best of scissors! XD
How 'bout you??

Hmmm...Probably the craziest thing I've done with my hair is try to put it up with chopsticks (and fail, for that matter). XD I refuse to dye or otherwise harm it. XD

Honestly, haven't done too much werid stuff with my hair... Never been allowed to dye it an extreme colour (nor have I really wanted to, and my hairdresser suggested that a bright reddish colour would make my skin look more pale :/) Ummm... the "craziest" thing I can think of, was when I had my hair permed and just LATHERED it in mousse, so it's this like long, wavy/curlyish hair, and feels as crunchy as straw :/ My friends always liked to crunch it cause it felt neat :/ (And yeah I played with it too of course^^)

I dyed it purple a while ago... and then this summer I dyed it blue.

1 word- dreds.
Did it for a play, but while we're being honest, I totally liked it.

(I put in two small red streaks. Oh yes.)
(And then I dyed it red (which came out more burgundy because of my extremely dark brown hair) for a Tallisibeth Edwandung-Esterhazy (AKA Scout) cosplay for the midnight showing of SW Episode III.)

I shaved my head, completely. That was a...fun experience. My friends thought it was the end of the world, though.

I spiked it all up (My hair being longer than shoulder length made it look funny)

A toss-up between getting a perm (that lasted about 6 months, then I PAID them to make it straight again) and the Princess-Leia-look. Both of which are attached. >_O;;
Edit: and apparently the system won't let me re-attach a picture from the post your pic thread, so you guys will all have to go searching for the infamous perm.

Longer bangs up front and short 'n spiky in the back. Then I had it streaked with bright red...only it turned out a bit more neon pink...o.o

I put red and blonde streaks in my hair. Came out pretty nice too.
Haha, my sister did the princess leia look too(and coincidentally, her name is Ashli!), but unfortunately, her hair got too long and it all flopped down and looked like pigtails.

In 8th grade, a group of friends went as characters from Wizard of Oz, and I was Lion, so my mom put my hair in dozens of tiny braids, which I later took out and brushed, causing my hair to poof up really huge.
My hair was really long for both of the proms I went to, so I had pretty elaborate hair-dos, and people kept asking me if 'that was my real hair.'
I'm going to be Leia for Halloween this year, so we'll see how the buns go - I found pretty in-depth instructions online.

A girl a grade above me in school once dyed her hair bright pink for a few months and then shaved all of it off except for two bang sections in the front.
A friend of mine once dyed her hair blue with temporary dye, which was supposed to wash right out, but she had naturally platinum blonde hair, and it was blue for months, lol.

I had a mohawk for a few months. Then I dyed my hair green and would put it up in liberty spikes.

Bleached it myself
had mom bleach it (I did better i had almost cheeta spots when she did it)
a mohawk the width of Filix's from startrek
red and blue spikes (red and blue hair gell)

Craziest thing I've ever done with my hair is when I spiked the tips out, died the tips orange, then streaked the orange in long lines over my entire head

Once upon a time, when I was eight years old....
My sister: Hey, let me cut your hair.
Me: Okay.
* Sister cuts my hair *
* Dad comes home from work, see my haircut *
Dad: My son! Were you attacked by a dog?!
Me: No, sister cut my hair. There won't be a next time.

XD Ultra Magnus, that's pretty darn funny.
My mom used to cut my bangs (back when I had them), and left the hair scissors laying around one day; my sister, who was three at the time, found them and decided to cut her own bangs. The hairdresser had to give her a pixie cut to disguise the damage.
My mom wasn't allowed to cut my bangs anymore after an incident in 6th grade - she kept cutting them crooked and trying to even them up. They were an inch long before I stopped her, and still crooked.

Thought about dying it green for St. Patrick's day, but my sister's wedding was within a few weeks.

LOL. Many people I know often had one of their parents cutting their hair a kid. Perhaps it's due to convenience, or a way to save money, or both. And most people I know eventually decide that's a bad idea, for similar reasons to what you've posted.

Attempted Queen Amidala hair. (spelling?)
I had more success with the makeup. Both were somewhat limited.

Let's see... I had a mullet once. And a flat top. Now I have a buzz-cut. I'm working on Massive side-burns ala Wolverine.

I just cut my hair Mandy Moore short. That's probably the craziest thing I've ever done. (It's so much fun! And it doesn't take hours to dry! Hip-hip-hooray!)
Yes, yes, I know. I'm a crazy woman.

Um, I cut mine short and highlighted it.
*hears crickets chirping*
So I'm not adventurous. Bite me. XD
