On Wednesday I am speaking at a public Library on how to draw anime. (it's sort of an anime movie party. After my speech we are watching Howl's moving Castle. and at the end I will do a quick trivia game and award the winner with a poster...
I am SOO NERVOUS! I have never spoken to an audience...and I guess they are expecting a good crowd...*shiver*
I am not sure if my examples are that great...my marker kept dying even though they are new....
I just hope I don't pass out...the last time I spoke to a crowd was in my english class...and I forgot to breath...^^;
I guess I am willing to take any advice...
So yeah wish me luck please!! (This really isn't a prayer thread, but if you want to pray for me that would be awesome too!!)

Wow that's wonderful news CR!
Here's how you should start your talk:
"Hello everyone, I am CR, a most ELITE anime artist if I do say so myself. Watch carefully as I show you my awesome ninja-like drawing techniques. Don't blink or you will miss it!" * throw smoke bomb *

'Break a leg' out there, I now you'll do great.
On second thought, don't break a leg. That would be painful and make a load of inconvenience for every. You should film it instead and stick it on YouTube! \^o^/

You'll do fine. If you ever feel you're losing your nerve, or your mind suddenly draws a blank, don't panic. Just look away from the people, take a nice deep breath, and think about what you want to say next -it's good to have a general outline of your speech which you can glance down at to remind yourself when you forget what's next.
But I hear you. Statistically, most people are less afraid of death than speaking publically. I never enjoyed getting up in front of the class, but each time I got better at dealing with it. Just remember to breathe...but don't hyperventilate.

thanks everyone!!!
Right now I am working on finishing up the prize poster... and then I will practice for some family and friends...
I am thinking I will do a "Whats your favorite anime?" Thing at the beginning to warm up...maybe that way, I won't be so nervous?
