bro' town

possibly no-one outside of NZ and Oz would have even heard of "bro' town", but i was wondering what anyone else might think of it. i just watched it for the first time tonight (i think it was the first time shown on aussie tv). i have mixed feelings...

my first impressions were that it was trying a bit too hard to be like a kiwi "south park". i also thought it was fully bagging maoris, and i was surprised to see the number of maori contributors in the credits.

what are your thoughts, anyone? has anyone else seen it?

I watched it on SBS for the first time today. I enjoyed the NZ flavour and the giant moa references (its my favourite bird). It was also an interesting take on the Lord of the Flies (the leader wore a cloak of live kiwis). lol
Anyway it was quite enjoyable but a bit odd, and the lip synch was downright bad in places.

The only time I really watch TV is the 5 minutes weather report each night... I no longer know what is on nor when.

Just cannot spare the brain cells....

I've only watched it one and a half times. Personally, while it's funny at times (possibly more so once you understand the references), it doesn't really suit my tastes. It may not have the most cussing and irreverence of any show, but stuff like that still bugs me.
But meh. That's just me. :)

Just watched the intro on YouTube. A bit crude for me. Didn't care for the humor.
