I keep hearing reports that the guy who played Napoleon Dynamite died in a car crash. I have seen one or two internet sites that say this but no offcial news site says it.

And I keep hearing people in my dorm hall talking about it too.. So is it true? DID he die?

He [Jon Heder] currently lives with his wife Kirsten Heder in Los Angeles, California. The two have been married since 2002 and are expecting their first child.

In 2005, an Internet article started a heavily circulated, untrue rumor that Heder died in a car crash after leaving the wrap party for the film Moving McAllister.

Yeah, I heard that last year, too. XD Don't really know how or why that rumor got started, but he played in the movie "Just Like Heaven" shortly after the rumor got out, so I guess that kind of proved the rumor wrong. XD But anyways, what other famous people had died recently? o_o

How: This webpage is how the rumor got started, more than likely.

Why: As snopes states, more than likely to cause people to feel an especially strong sense of anguish about the subject, since he was very young. Also, he is a Mormon, and the web page above implies illegal drug use, etc., perhaps trying to say that this moral, upstanding young man had fame go to his head from Hollywood.

Or trying to make innocent and child-friendly actors seem like they're dark and disturbing (the untrue rumor about Mr. Rogers being a sniper in Vietnam comes to mind).

He said he wanted to stop starring in Blue's Clues because he was balding. I guess that would disturb the kids in one way or another...? XD

BTW, I saw the actor for Napoleon Dynamite on TV not too long ago. :\ Silly conspiracy writers.
