Is this natural...?

Uh, so, awhile back when I first got my new computer, my dad was showing me a joke e-mail he received. I liked it, and since I was too lazy to go get my flash drive, I asked if he could just e-mail it to me. He did.

Now I'm getting a bunch of strange and typically random e-mails from my parents (a bunch of ones about Christian-related stuff, but they feel more like junk mail than stuff I'd actually care about).

The problem: I still live here. In the same house. My room is the nearest one to their computer, and yet they prefer sending me all this stuff I don't care about, or even if it is something I would care about, they do this instead of calling me to get up, walk to their computer, and see what it is.

Well, yeah, just thought that was interesting. =|

My Dad did that to me a lot before he got sick and passed away.
I really miss his little quirks like that.

I would just say they you should take the time to look at it what ever it is.

If your loved one wanted you to see it take a minute to look at it.

Of course they might be just forwarding something to their contacts list.
Maybe you could ask them to only send you things that they think you will like.

Yeah, I think they are mostly just forwarding stuff to their whole (which is also something I tend to greatly dislike XD ).

Most of the time, people just forward stuff to their whole address book. But yeah, my parents do the same thing sometimes, it's okay. XD (Maybe it's because you're on the computer a lot and it's the only way they can reach you? *ahem*likeme*ahem*)

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

Yes, it's common. Yes, it's usually annoying. You might ask them to remove you from their "general forwards" list.

You might use it as an example to explain the nuances of "mailing lists" to separate things. Or just hit the delete key. That works too. ;)
