My boyfriend and I have decided to get abstinence rings. :O
twas his idea... hes such a smarty. XP

So we were looking through these rings... and we can't decide. and we need help. :O

we are down to 3 that we like. er well, two that he likes and one that I like. but I like the other two that he likes... but he doesnt like the one that- er you get the picture.

Hmmm I can't decide between "Wired Truth" and "Coincide: Crown of Thorns"... I also personally like "Joined by Love"... so sorry can't help you decide!^^ I'm bad at decisions myself... but these rings are a nice idea^^ Nice designs... nice meanings behind them... haven't heard of them of before, really (either than stuff like promise rings and stuff... I guess sort of purity, but *shrugs*)

I agree with you, Tenshi no Ai, about the Joined by love one, but in my opinion, the Crown of Thorns and Wired Truth rings are better. Well, anyways, I'll talk to you later, Hannavas!

Hmmm...my favorite is the Claddagh with cross, but that's because I prefer 'dainty' rings over big bands. I'm guessing that's the one your boyfriend's not crazy about, right?

If you like the Cladagh one better, do you have to have the same style? Maybe you could have one style and he could have the other. Although I can understand if you'd rather have the same style.
If not Claddagh, I like the crown of thorns one a bit better than Wired Truth. The wired one is OK, but...for some reason that design makes me think of The One Ring. Which, considering it's a symbol for pure evil....XD Yeah, I know, I'm a nerd.

I prefer mine, but I did like some the designs they had in there, especially the barbed wire.

I've never understood the purity rings. On one side it's good Christian intentions on the other there's greedy marketing. Hmm...

Well I'm giving Jenna a pre-commitment ring. It's a promise to pledge that we'll think about getting engaged just as soon as we're ready to make a commitment.

my favorite is the wired truth ring, for the message and for just aesthetic reasons. but the crown of thorns is also nice. i'm not so sure i like the last one, though.

I voted Crown of Thorns because 1) it looks cool and 2) has symbolic meaning. I am greatly inspired to get my own. Now....if only they sell those things in Asia.

I like wired truth -- The celtic design is pretty. Next favorite is the Claddagh.

I was stuck on Crown on Thorns and Wired Truth but I agree with the above statement. I'd rather have Crown of Thorns rather than "divine barbed wire". XP

I liked the plain band better than the rest of them... including the ones you chose... of the ones you chose I liked the wired truth one.

I like the Claddagh Ring With the Cross! Because each person gets a different design, yet similar. One screams out "I am female" and the other screams "I am male!" So no gender-blender issues.

Well, I voted for Crown of Thorns. But I also really like the Claddagh one. XD I thought Joined By Love was pretty too, so....Like Tenshi, I can't help you much. XD But yeah, if I were you, I'd go with Crown of Thorns or Claddagh.

I voted for Claddagh, it has nice symbolism. I also like the Crown of Thorns ring.

You'll have to let us know what ring(s) you ultimately end up choosing. And perhaps pictures of the two of you with said rings. *is a sucker for mushy pictures* X3

I love the purity/chastity ring idea. I wear one myself, it has a cross with a heart around it with an angel on either side, I like the symbolism. I plan on wearing it until my wedding day.

I wouldn't say I hate them, but I'm just into more delicate rings for girls, so I wasn't really feeling any of them for you. Are you and your boyfriend trying to get matching rings to wear?

I like the Crown of Thorns. The wire one looks kinda creepy. My promise ring(not between me and boyfriend, just my own stand for purity) is a nice silver ring with amethyst stone.
