this is my sunday to help teach sunday school and i'm supposed to be creating some sort of lesson around the story of Jacob and Esau in genesis 25: 19-36. my group contains 6-8 year olds and i was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a fun game we could do.
thanks!

The only game I know is the one where you take two people and blindfold them and give them each a newspaper and they try to whack each other by calling out
"Jacob!" or "Esau!" but I don't think that would work for your age group as it would get out of control.Ok,it doesn't quite work for teens either as THEY can also get out of control with it.

What did you end up doing?

Hopefully you found something better than my suggestion otherwise I can imagaine the entire class spending the time whacking each other with newspapers!

i have a fairly well-behaved group, but i have a feeling i'd be in a mess for sure if i let them go whack each other to death.
we ended up doing a trivia/memory game with little prizes for participation and a crossword puzzle with a picture to color for the ones that couldn't read.

That's good.As I said that was the only game I could come up with.Just wish that you had gotten more responses to your question.
