Mogolian Barbeque in Claremont

For my birthday dinner (had it on Friday) with my parents, I wanted mongolian barbeque... Well, my mom looked in the phone book, and found a place in claremont, which was a bit of a distance, but we went...

Anyhow, when I was there, in my line of sight and close enough for me to hear their conversations, a group were talking about mini-goddess and ah my goddess... I'm thinking "Oh, anime fans" They were discussing the norse mythology and then talked about some other anime, I think.

Then, I hear one of them say something like "How was bible study the other day"

So... I'm just wondering... Was that anyone here that I saw? I almost asked directly, but felt weird about it so I didn't...

As for the barbeque itself, I didn't like this place as much as the place I used to go to in Chico...

I actually didn't like this place as much as the mongolian barbeque I used to go to... Their selection of sauces was miniscule, and they didnt' have noodles... The noodles are an important part of mongolian barbeque for vegetablephobes like me... THey only had meat, green veggies, and a very small collection of UNLABELED sauces... Oh, and their chillis were incredibly bitter... That ruined a whole plate for me (that and they have curry powder, and being a curry fan, I had to try it... It just didn't mix, but the curry mix was tolerable... the chillis weren't)

I'll have to look for more mongolian barbeque places... There HAS to be one like the one I went to in Chico...

There are quite a few good ones up around the Bay here, but I'm guessing that doesn't help. Shooby might be able to help you find one semi-close by.
