Neko Con's Staff Forum

Being that I am on the Neko Con Staff I have access to the staff forums.
This week one of the staff put in a thread about anime cons sharing space with other activities at the same time.
One discussed anime con sharing space with Christian groups or other religious group or a square dancing meet or a Gay group or something else. Some felt or were made uncomfortable by someone in involved with the other activity or didn't have any problems with it. First year for Otakon at the Baltimore Convention Center they shared it with a Muslim meeting. There were alot of pulled fire alarms that year.
Last year for Neko Con was our first year in the City of Hampton Convention Center and Saturday night the center was shared with Marines and a local Catholic church celebrating the church's anniversary. Alot of the staff said that didn't bother them. It seemed the three groups got along.
Acourse there was a gangster rap concert in the coliseum across the street.
