I normally use Lite, but I just switched back to Heavy and realized Heavy looks a LOT cooler. I switch back so I can use chat though.

I just stay in lite for chat but i agree, heavy is way cooler.

I have been missing this for a long time! I forgot how good it looked. Stares at the coolness...

I use Lite because of the chat, and the dark skin is too slow for my tastes. It looks cool and everything, but I'm trying to help out with bandwidth and stuff.

I generally use pasty white, but sometimes I go for a deep tan when I've been out in the sun long enough... heh

Actually, i use Lite... I forgot the other ones existed, as lite is the default skin now (used to be the original)

I honestly dont' see how lite is faster... What's faster about it? Isn't it just a different color scheme?

The dark skin is VERY image-heavy, while the Lite skin doesn't have that many images to load at all.

I like the dark skin, but I use Lite.

Wow you're right, the dark really is cool o.o I haven't used it in sooooo long. I've gotten so used to the lite, but I think I'm gonna use heavy for a while.

I just changed into CAA Lite, but I think I'll change back.. I like the darker better..

I just switched to dark. It's ... DARK. I like dark.

I much prefer the Lite skin. I despise really dark websites.

I use the dark skin. I was using Lite, but I don't really go to the chat anymore, so I switched back. I forgot how much I loved it. *huggles dark skin*

I perfer the Default skin. Not only does it look better I think it's much easier on my eyes. ^_^

I honestly prefer the dark but I stick with the light 'cause I'm too lazy to switch back everytime I want to use the chat.

We left the heavy skin up for compatability reasons, but the lite skin was used to solve a serious bandwidth issue. It doesn't have a lot of the really large graphics files which, while very cool, take up quite a bit more bandwidth each time a user views a page.

I use Lite myself, so that I don't waste bandwidth. 'Tisn't nice. ^_^

Speaking of other skin . . . being an albino would be pretty neat.

Lite. I switched back when bandwidth was a bigger issue and I don't really care about how the site looks provided it functions.

I never knew there was a dakrer one. I'm using it now, but I'm about to go switch back to Lite.

I vastly prefer the darker skin

I use human skin for most of my bookbinding, but dragon skin for the most powerful of my arcane tomes.

Oh, okay, I use lite.

I used the old default skin however since the chat only works with the lite skin I have been since then switch to it.

When you use the dark skin, you request graphics from Mith's server to make it look nice. The Lite skin doesn't have those graphics, so it is less of a strain on his server.

In other words, by making this thread and telling people who didn't know about the dark skin that it exists (and them switching), his server is forced to work harder to send out the graphic requests for that skin.

This results in CAA being slowed down. Thus, you have single handedly reduced CAA's speed by 9% by having more users request these graphics.

I use whatever I started with....since I've been here 2 years I THINK it's default but maybe not? Chu's on Lite tho since she's new.
