Off To The Beach

Well I am off to the beach as of Saturday morning to Ocean City MD.
Its really go to be a working vacation. I have to attend the state fire and rescue convention and be a delegate for my fire company. Everything starts Sunday with seminars and honor guard competitions and in the evening the memorial service with slide pictures of all the firefighters, rescue personnel and auxiliary members who passed away during the year.
Monday morning is opening ceremonies with a parade of officers, US and county flags and maybe again the New York City and Washington DC Fire Dept Pipes(Bagpipes) and Drums Bands. Invided speakers (election year) after all that is nomination of new officers for the year (one of our life members is running for second Vice president for the state) with a marching band and then after all that more seminars or go and buy things from the companies selling fire apparatus or gear and other things. In the evening there are the beach parties and fireworks
Tuesday is the elections and presentations, awards and seminars, the picnic and buy things.
Wednesday presentations, awards, ticket drawings, buy things and the big parade.
After all that then I get to rest and shop and maybe take in a movie or two Thursday and Friday and come Saturday Morning packup and head back home with maybe some stops along the way. Get home unpack, rest up Sunday and back to work Monday (OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHMAN)
