Looks like I'll be headed to Lake Tahoe this August for five days of food, wine, and signal processing . I've just got word that my presentation has been accepted for a conference down there.

I might decide to stick around a couple of days before or after the conference. I figure I could check into one of the local motels somewhere; I could really use a vacation.

Well, if you wanted to hang out in the SF bay area, a couple hours drive west, I might be pursuaded to hang out with you (show you around and whatnot). Or is this going to actually be a "vacation" kind of thig?

Thanks! At the moment, I'm going to have to wait to find out how much time I have (we have a big grant/corporate parntership starting in September), and whether or not there's any particular sights in the Tahow area that I want to see. With any luck, I should be able to swing a trip to SF and catch a flight back from there.
