Check this out sometime -- it's a Christian animation that I created that has goth and anime elements to it: FRESH BLOOD

Holy crap that was great! The people were done very well and I especially liked the spikey haired dudes hair. The animation was a little slow but I'm not complaining, I couldn't do anything half that good. That was pretty great.

Just when the Jesus character came up, I thought it was Chuck Norris at first :P Anyway I liked it very much.

Really awesome. I love it when someone can tell a story so well they don't need words. The little touches really made it, too: like the nail mark in the intervening hand or the Chinese characters for "Jesus" on his shirt. You did a great job!

I shall henceforth call this "The parable of the the vampire and kung-fu Yeshua", though it's a pretty good parable. From my bit of experience in 3D graphics, I think this must have taken a seriously long time to design and render, and I commend you for it. Since your video seems to draw more from the old and new gothic literature than from the post-punk influenced gothic rock scene, I would rename the thread "Gothic Christian animated music video".

Heh, that sounds like if the Bible written in post-modern times... but yes that would work as a really good parable^^

Who said parables were isolated simply to ancient works? Granted, they don't work as well in these times, at least in my experience going through K-12 where, in spite of the best efforts of language arts teachers, people still seem to have a very hard time understanding symbolism. I could easily write the plot of this video in written form and it would come out in the form of a parable.

Wow that is really awesome. Having just started learning 3D rendering and animation for architecture, it's really cool to see what an amazing job people can do with the medium.

I really like the use of black and white with minimal color to emphasize important points, it's very visually interesting, especially since you almost never see B&W in 3D animations.

For some reason, I really liked the flow of motion of the girl's feet, very well done.

And I love the parable, very to the point.
