I was looking on the Travel Channel and found this vehicle on one of the shows. Now the owner is selling it. Go to
http://www.steelwheels4X4.com to see it and the cost of selling it.

...for every motorist that's scared of getting shot at? What's up with the steal-bulkiness of it?

No. I can't imagine the gas required as well as the amazing lack of manuverability a device like that would have. I like small nimble vehicles on and off road.

It looks pretty nice. They seem to have put a lot of thought and effort into it, but it still isn't my cup of tea.

When the zombiepocalypse comes, you'll envy me and my armored ride.

Bah. Truly 1337 vehicles rate gas economy in gallons per mile, not miles per gallon. And the best way to deal with the zombiepocalypse is to have your very own Civil Defense Blast Shelter. If it can take a close hit with a nuke and keep you alive, it can take the undead.

No, I wouldn't drive that. Unless --like others have already said-- there was a zombie outbreak.

ROFL, no way! Not only does it look like a pile of trash outside, but it looks like a psychadelic trip on the inside. XD I think I would die if I had to live in that thing.

The only thing going for it is that is has a Caterpillar diesel engine and could run on biodiesel. I did read that the owner said it gets 6 miles to the gallion and has a 190 gallion tank.
The body and chassis are from a airport crash truck with the tanks, pump and other firefighting devices removed.
The owner named it Drago after the dragon from the movie Dragonheart

I love it when people build stuff like that. I wouldn't buy it or drive it, but I find it very inventive.

My reasons for never wanting to own it.
1. It's massive
2. Enough metal to build another Titanic
3. Worth more if you salvage the metal
4. I'd have to wear sunglasses for the sheen on all that metal
5. He says it's 4x4, now seriously, if you get that thing stuck, is 4x4 going to help any at all? No, you're going to have to rent a crane.
6. See those stilt things? Tell me, where will those things work? They're going to have to be on THICK concrete. Why would you raise it if you're already on concrete?
Don't get me wrong though, it is creative. It's just not my thing. BUT if ever there is a zombie outbreak, I will look them up.

woh! I wouldn't drive it because I'd be scared that I'd hit something and never know it.
