Whoot! That's awesome! I wonder how people hear about CAA? Is it through websearch or through pre-existing members of CAA telling their friends? I learned about it from some person coming to a night at our youthgroup from CA. I forget who it was here on CAA though,

This isn't the first time we've hit over 4000 members. Actually, we've hit over 6000 or so by now. Every so often we clear out the logs of user accounts that haven't been used in a few years (and never posted). It's all in the FAQ... Somewhere.

The newest user as of this post is actually account #6372. How long has it been since we last cleared the logs? I suppose it doesn't matter as long as we don't clear them beneath 4000 and then have this all over again.

Aw shucks, UC. I remember when we celebrated 2000 members for the third time. Any excuse for a party, right?

Perhaps we can get together and celebrate the next three times we cross 6000.

Wait until we get 10,000 permenant members then we can really party hardy!

Deleting unused accounts, while it does remove false inflation from the number of members and keep things cleaner, has certainly muddied the waters regarding this matter. I think Omega Amen will be the only member to have the honor of being remembered as a specific number. However, I'll see if I can determine who is the actual 10 000th member. Chances are it will just be some random person.

At the time of my posting, the stat bar reports exactly 30000 threads -- but I bet there were a lot more than that that got pruned. ^_^
