In honor of Mother's Day, I decided to start a thread about favorite fictional moms. This can be anime or non-anime.
Mine would be Mrs. Brisby in The Secret of NIMH . The lengths she goes to for Timmy's medicine are just amazing, especially considering that she even fights her natural predator.

I'm gonna have to say the mother from Quest for Camalot. She prays for her child. And is just a very strong and brave person. (She also has Celine Dion as a singing voice, which is a bonus ^_^)

Oh, and even though I must have saw her for like a grand total of...2 panels. Shikamaru's mom from Naruto. You boss those men around! lol =^.^=

You know it had to be tough for her living on an alien planet with a race that was near totally logical trying to raise a son who could have become an outcast because he was half-human.

I haven't yet decided who my own favorite fictional mom is, but if one were to ask my mother who hers is she might say Marcie Rouge from The Traveller's Guide -- "because there's a depth of character yet to be seen, and because she wears a hat in the kitchen."

Claire Cosby. She's amazing.

Her name escapes me at the moment, but Niwa Daisuke's (DN angel) mother. I found the way that she poked fun at daisuke quite humorous.

I like her too- I think her name's Emiko.

She's insane and funny at the same time ^^;

I'll say Ten's mom from Urusai Yatsura. Mainly because she can keep him from being so darn obnoxious.

I'd say Ash's mom from Pokemon - she's so cliche, she's funny.

Wow. I haven't seen that movie in AGES... And I'd have to agree. Mrs. Brisby was awesome.

That would be Niwa Emiko ~ and yes, she rocks.

I also second the Cosby Show and Incredibles references. I would also add Mrs. Tenryou [Ikki's mom] from Medabots [yes I watched it, cheesy as it was]. She was a RIOT.
