Getting upset by the most silliest things as a child?

Share your stories of how you'd get upset over the silliest things as a child.
I have an embarassing one XD My mom and older sister bought my cousin a new barbie doll (who is female) for her birthday or something. Well it was the same barbie doll (yes, I'm a guy and I'm talking about barbie dolls) that I saw on a tv commercial once. And on the commercial, these girls were giving their barbie doll a haircut right? Well after cutting it, they somehow reattached it "magically". I was so enthralled by this magical or super sciency device. I secretly wanted one.
When I found out my cousin was getting one. I started to cry
I cried to my mom and sister how I wanted one too, because it had the magical "regrowing hair".
I was about... 4 or 5 at the time XD Cut me some slack!

LOL! that's pretty funny.
Let's see...
Ohh yes! lol. My sisters and I were playing in our little turtle pool, and I wouldnt lie down..because I thought the water was cold. So my sister tricked me into laying down(somehow) and I got all mad at her and started dumping water on her head, which causes her to kick me and I fell and hit my nose on the side of the pool...and cried alot. (My mom was videotaping this whole thing...so yes, we have it on tape lol)
oohhh! another one!
My sister decided she wanted to get "married" to her teenage mutant ninja turtle (keep in mind she was 4 and I was 3) so we got our "prettiest" dresses on, and mom told Stephanie that her dress was beautiful, and then she said mine was pretty. For some reason I got really upset and decided to ruin my sisters fake wedding lol. That's also on tape

My childhood was embarassing^^ Being an only child I used to be a "I want that!" kid (lack of sublings + all toys are for me :/) So filmed on the home movies is my 5th birthday. Someone gave be either a Beauty and the Beast or Little Mermaid (got both anyways... 2 Mermaid ones too :/ a popular b-day item for me apparently^^) school set thingie (you know, the ones with a pencil case, pencils, eraser, and sharpener). So I opened up the present to reveal... which ever of the 2 Disney things^^ So then you can watch on film me freak out saying "THAT'S NOT RIGHT! I WANTED BATMAN!!!!" A tomboy, yes. Glad when people grow up they change personalities, yes^^
Also... on my 6th b-day on home movies, you watch me freak out as everyone sings Happy Birthday to me. You see, I thought that song was for babies (yes, despite my young age :/) and HATED it when people sung it :/ My cousin didn't make things any better though (he was like a bro to me, so bugged me soooo much!) Now not like I care about the song or anything^^
Sad thing is, I remember those 2 times somewhat :/

Yeah, I always got really upset when people would use double superlatives in their thread titles. That just always got to me.

After having to ask someone what a double superlative was. I have a question: Do people generally dislike double superlatives? I never understood the whole business with them. Are they taboo or something?

Yumie, you just caused this big debate on the grammatical correctness of superlatives and you didn't even know it! They bother me too.

When I was little I had a singing teddybear that would say something like "Hope we have a magical time!" I insisted that it said "Magiba Time" and Mom would say "no it says magical time". We argued over that many times. Another one was with the ACDC song Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. I insisted it was Dirty Deeds Don Dir Chee...... My uncle still makes fun of me for that..

I will not tell anything horrible about my childhood because I was perfect. Zilch on the other hand had a small problem with being stuffing in a packing barrel with the lid on, tipped over on the side, and me and my brother moving the barrel around pretending that we had just pushed it down the stairs. Poor kid ... screamed like a baby tie fighter. And yes ... that could be linked to what's wrong with him now.

I hate double superlatives! They are improper grammar

XD, I didn't mean to start a whole new conversation about double superlatives, it was mostly just a joke that I couldn't resist making. . . XD. They're not really taboo, Ryan, they're just gramatically incorrect. :-P
And now, to make my post worthwhile, I'll mention something that bugged me as a kid: OK, all my cousins are older than I am-- since my parents tied the knot when my mom was 29 and dad was 34, my aunts and uncles who got married around 20 got a quite a headstart on the family scene. Anyways, because of that, I never really was able to fit in well with the cousins when I was a kid. They didn't like playing with me. *Shocking*, I know. So anyways, any time they saw me coming, they'd all run away yelling "Yumie the monster, Yumie the monster!" (Except they used my real name, of course.) And I'd always cry and chase them, but I couldn't run as fast as they could, so I never got to play with them unless I told on them, and you can guess how far that got me when it came to their esteem. -_-

I used to get a bit miffed when people would keep hitting me with a car, and then backing up over my comatose body. That was never much fun.

I got upset when I found out Santa wasn't real. I also got upset when my sisters told me Yogi bear was in the shower and he wasn't.

I really wish my parents had a video camera when I was growing up... At least my sister did (understand when i say sister, she was married and had kids around my age, my two nephews and one niece) I could probably get a funny moment or two of mine on youtube, but it would take some serious tracking down... Luckily it's all 8-video, and I have a high-8 camera... If they'd just send it to me...
