...or are we nudging closer and closer towards the mark of 4000 members? (3,974 at this very moment). 26 is still many off, but should we celebrate in some way at the joining of the 4000th member or something and hope its not a troll?

As much as free candy sounds delicious,to be serious for a change I think that we shouldn't make too big a deal about it.I mean imagine being the
3,999 or 4,001 member.
Maybe a nice and quiet congrats.

However, when you think about it, we've already had far over 4000 members, because every so often the database purges members who have less than 25 posts (I *believe* it's 25 anyways) and haven't posted in a while. But having 4000 active members may be a different thing all together. One of the mods could go in and ad "4000th member!" to his signature in bright colors. . . for a small fee. . . XD

And yeah, actually, we've hit 4,000 members once already. However, perhaps we're closed to a lasting 4,000 members. That would, indeed, be impressive.

Ooooh! I remember I had a friend sign up here over a year or so ago and she posted a few times, and went to see if she posted anything recently but wasn't even on The List. Looks like this explains it^^

EDIT: wait a minute... why does The List look to have WAY fewer than almost 4,000 members?! I mean 29 people per page, and a little over 30 pages of the names... it doesn't add up^^

'Cause you only get on "the list" when you reach 25 posts. We have many members with fewer than 25 posts who are still in the database but aren't on "the list."
