I'm on a topic-making roll today! (Just one of those days where I get different ideas of topics to make^^)

Anyhow... everyone has at least ONE allergy to something, I'm sure. So what are you allergic to? (By the way, who was it on the chat that said you were allergic to chocolate? I feel bad for you v_v)

As for me my list is as follows:

- prickly/pokey things (like my hedgehog, a fir tree/hedge thing, and dry grass... I break out in a temporary red rashy thing but doesn't itch, more or so tingles :/)

- the sticky part of band aids, but only those kind that have the thick material and thick sticky stuff on it (do they still even make those anymore?)

- bee stings and sulfa medication (only supposingly, do to heredity)

- also supposingly is animal fur but my cat doesn't bother me and I only get say an itchy nose if I go to the SPCA :/ Not sure if that would even count^^

-Perfume, scented candles, lotions, etc.
-Bubble bath and some cheap shampoo.
-Some pollenous flowers and weeds, especially scotch broom.
-Alcoholic beverages(when I was a little girl, I'd always throw up if I had even a teeny-tiny sip of one of my parents' drinks in a restaurant)

I can't think of anything, other than poisen oak or a bit of pollen.

Argh, as a kid, I was allergic to EVERYTHING. A few of the most outstanding allergies were:

1) Grass. I'd roll down hills and come inside covered in rashes.

2) Metal. I had a perpetual rash cause by the button on my jeans. My mom had to paint all the metal fasteners on my clothes with clear nail polish to keep me from having a reaction, but, even then, it didn't completely remedy the problem.

I'm allergic to pollen, raw apples, raw almonds and raw hazelnuts. Actually, I'm allergic to a lot of raw nuts and fruits; they have to be cooked.

Lets see.

Grass.
Cigarette smoke.
Pollen.
Mold.
Pork.
Lactose. But I can take it in small amounts.
Cheap perfume.
Nickle.
Most laundry and body soaps.

I'm not allergic to anything. I attribute that to living in the Philippines for the early years of my life.

Nuts. I can endure eating some, but peanuts, macadamias, and cashews can send me to the hospital. D: Don't know how that works.

Pollen does a number on me, too. And apparently I'm mildly allergic to shrimp - I pricked my finger accidentally on a shrimp tail and my finger inflated like a balloon.

I was allergic to cats as a kid, but my best friend, whom I've known since kindergarten, owns 8 cats. I guess I had to get over that one to survive.

And I'm sure I have PLENTY more allergies lurking around somewhere. =_=

Latex (I got to wear cool purple gloves in Anatomy), cheap metal (like in earrings), mildly to citric acid, and I'm also really sensitive to alcohol (the tiniest bit makes me violently sick).

The usual pollen and dry grasses and all the other hayfever related things we have in abundance in Australia. I hate Spring because of it. I don't know if I'm allergic to bee stings because I've never been stung by a bee (inch-ant bites are painful as anything though).

Pollen, cigarette smoke, and sometimes I can't take scented candles, too strong.

I am not sure I understand the question correctly. Do you mean stuff that will make you sick / feel bad, but other people may find them ok?

If so, I am allergic to:

1. Secondhand cigarette smoke (if I inhale it)
2. Fire
3. Sharp objects
4. When I am full, looking at food sometimes induces a desire to vomit in me

Allergies are due to an overactive immune system. You are probably allergic to 1, but there is no way you are allergic to 2-4. Rather, it's more like something that scares you silly rather than histamine doing a number on your body.

Oh thanks for the detailed explanation. In that case, I am not allergic to anything as far as I know. 1 - 4 above are just things I dislike, but my body doesn't act up. :)

Pollen, pine (no live Christmas trees in our house!), ragweed, grass... Pretty much anything that's a plant, I guess. Although this year, I've done very well, which I attribute to my really strong new allergy medication that few people, including some doctors, have heard of.

I'm also allergic to citric acid, so fruit is pretty much out for me, unless it's coated in something. I can eat apple pie, for example, because it's coated in the pie stuff.

Finally, I'm allergic to stupidity. Stupid people make me break out in anger.

In our labs, the only gloves we use are made either of vinyl or nitrile. I suprised that labs or clinics still use latex at all.

I'm dust sensitive like many people and it doesn't help that my mum's a seamstress that does a lot of work at home. That tends to throw up a lot of dust especially when she clips the small bits of fabric.

I'm allergic to mango tree pollen when the trees are flowering. I get all sniffly and my eyes water like crazy...people think I'm crying ^.^;...
As an added bonus, mango trees are nice and popular in Miami.

My aunt's allergic to chocolate (that's gotta stink)

I'm allergic to lots of stuff like pollen and animals and dust, but not allergic to any medicines or foods (thank the Lord)

I reacted years ago in six grade back in the 60s to penicillin pills for pneumonia. I ended up with hives. That is the only thing I know of.
