Anyone going? It's at Port Saint Lucie Community Center (Florida) from June 16th - 17th. I usually go to either Jacon or Meterocon since they are closer to me, but it's been way to creepy there lately! Too many yaoi fangirls and fanservice @_@ My friend said this one is much more family-oriented. :thumb:

More family oriented? I don't know. I mean I've never been to Houkocon, but there is a fair amount of fanservice and yaoi fans in usually every anime con.

*Wishes she lived in the distant, foreign land of America where the festivals celebrating all things anime were held.*

In other words... I'm not going.

But I'd like to.

If you do go, I'd like to know whether you thought it was more family-orientated, just out of curiousity and interest. Only if you didn't mind posting :) .

Sure, I understand this, but in other conventions I've been to have been in the weird parts of Orlando and they also had no rules againest provocative dress. My friend Ashley went before and she said it was much cleaner than any other convention she had gone too. And of course, I'm prepared for at least some scary yaoi fangirls to come. And yes, I will post about my experience with it.

Then give it a shot ^^ I suppose since it's smaller, it could be less provocative.
