Tongue smilies: threat or menace?

Well, okay, it's not really that important, but a lot of forums use :p for the sticking-the-tonge-out smilie - I know that I tend to use this form more than the capitalised form active here. This means that I tend to type the lowercase version, submit the post, and then have to edit my post to fix it. My question: do the rest of you do the same thing? And if so, should we petition the mighty wizard to make :p work like :P?

The Wizard? I was wondering who that man behind the curtain was.....

I dunno. I do tend to type it as you do, in lowercase. I think most people do. In IM it takes it as lower case. So, yeah, I think it would be handy if perhaps only a minor convenience.
