hey guys, I have some great news. As I've been traveling down the road of college applications, I've been accepted to Central Michigan University, Western Michigan University, Ferris State University. I kind of anticipated being accepted to all of these Div. II schools.
However, I also applied to Michigan State University and Purdue University (both very well known Div. I schools). And I've been accepted to those colleges as well!!! Now of course for any of you that know, out-of-state college tuition is really expensive (Purdue is $30,400/year!!!) So I've decided to go to MSU. Although I'm not sure how to change my major (currently it's "no pref." on their records). So, I just wanted to know if there's anyone here that's going to MSU or lives around east lansing/lansing area.

Good job my asian brother from another mother. (Where is that from anyway) I knew your asian blood and the insane IQ of 1337 would of gotten you into whatever school you desired.

Maverick you sick little puppy, : Pascal launches his last twenty page paper at Maverick's head :... Yeah, I would suggest enjoying a community college first, but in AZ your GPA doesn't transfer from the community college system to the university system... (wish I would have known that when I began). Also note that college will probably take you longer then four years, most do it in 5-6 years... Just focus on continuing to love whatever you major in, teachers often try to squelch that dream, and I know a lot of physics majors that wish they never entered the program when they were done that started out with the wide sparkling eyes of little kids... It really sick what they teachers do sometimes... but just remember that it is the teachers not the subject, just hold on to what first made you love the major. (For me that’s watching superstring shows and other NOVA specials) also jump onto rate my professor (see google) every time that you choose a teacher. The website will give you invaluable information to make your life easy (ier). Anyways, I'm finishing up college this semester, just a couple of more weeks to go WOO HOO! I will finally be a graduate student.
Finally when writing papers just plug in as many sources into your biography as you can find, a good paper has it's own weight in sources. To simply the biography writing process, find the citation writer on the net. It used to be located at landmarkproject.org but I know that it has moved. It is invaluable for writing citations...(once again google it). Umm... yeah, CAA will also become a lot more addictive, because of the stress for school I couldn't call my friends except at the end of the semester... consequently after eight years of doing this I have only a few friends left except in the major (where we all know each other because there were only 30 of us to begin with and those 30 stayed the same (we lost about half) all the way till today). So yeah, the internet has been essential for my social life... Even though it may take up the same amount of time or more than a phone conversation, it can be "fit" into my schedule whereas phone conversations require both members to be present at the time.
Alright enough ranting, Oh and congratualations on making it into college
