CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

I want to change my avatar but, every time I try to do so, I get an error message that says I don't have a properly formatted gif or PNG image help!

Oh, did I also mention that I tried doing the image URL? that didn't help.

How did you get your current one?

Hmm... That's weird. What picture are you trying to upload and use? Can you attach it to a post?

Maybe it's not in Jpeg format. Try converting it.

One super easy, computer illiterate way to do it is to use the paint program, if you're running windows, like this:

Open the picture you want to be your avatar in paint, click the "file" option at the top of the program, then click "save as". A new dialogue box will open. Now, type a new name into the "file name" box and then, in the drop down menu titled "Save as type" just below the "file name" box and select "JPEG". Once you've done that, click "save." Now, try using that image as your avatar and it should work.

Yay! It's working! I converted it into jpeg. I thought it could be in PNG format as well.

Congrats...I was about to ask how you got your art on computer...if I only could use a scanner!
