Curiosity poll: do you have these chocolate bunnies every Easter where you live? They seem to always pop up during this time of the year, only to fade away slowly again till next Easter season.

We have them. They make me angry.

If I buy a chocolate bunny that has anything other than chocolate or artificial flavoring to cause me to believe it is chocolate under that brightly colored wrapper-- it's candy making executice hunting season in Osaka's household. XD

Give me chocolate. Air is just a cheap imitation.

But if they're hollow, you can fill them with milk...:D

Or in the immortal moments of Aqua Teen Hunger Force. You could inject it with 5 varietys of cheese.

That sounds good...thanks for the suggestion, Ark!

If they're hollow, you can break them into pieces and the pieces will fall inside of the choco-rabbit.

(yes, we have hollow chocolate rabbits where I live.)

Yes, we have them all over the place where I live. My parents would always give my sister and me one for Easter, and we'd always have to hide them from my mother, who would eat them if we took too long.

Hollow chocolate is good, it is chocolate.

Solid chocolate or caramel/peanut butter filled chocolate is better.

I love Easter. Easter and Halloween, the candy holidays. They--wait. Come to think of it...DO they have these in England?! WHAT IF THEY DON'T?! HOW WILL I LIVE?!

Oh, right, Commisary. They have those right now anyway. XD

On another note, I once saw a book called The Hollow Chocolate Bunnies of the Apocolypse.

If I had the choice (and wasn't trying to watch my figure), I would fill one up with peanut butter and caramel mixed, and then eat it with a spork.

I like it to be hollow if it's big, that'd be insane if it wasn't hollow...plus I like to freeze mine and then break it and eat the little shards. Of course...I do that with the solid flat ones too...mmm....frozen chocolate...

Just be sure that you're not reading Sally Forth in the comics when you eat your
bunny or else it might mysteriously disappear!

They are indeed so common here that I am shocked a poll was made about it.

But I would prefer if they weren't hollow.

(And frozen chocolate that snaps off does has a certain delicious taste that room temp-a-ture chocolate does not have.)

I actually prefer hollow to solid. I’ve come to this conclusion after about thirty years of experiments. Hollow animals are much easier to eat. Once you bite the head off of a solid animal, it is very difficult to eat the rest. You are pretty much left with gnawing on it. Hollow animals, however, can be easily devoured in nice, good-sized, tasty pieces.

The store I work at always has sales after holidays. Somthing tells me the after Easter sale will involve me buying a few hollow chocolate bunnies...That, and buying like 15lbs of Peeps.

Is it true those things can actually expand in your stomach if you eat too many? (Remembers random Malcom in the Middle ep).

Well...I don't actually know. I know the youth pastor that I help aid ate like 9 of them at the last lockin...like stuffing them in his mouth. He is still alive. I know they do funny stuff if you microwave them though...

I'm not so much a chocolate bunny person myself, the hollowness gets to me and I much prefer good dark chocolate to the typical hollow-chocolate-bunny chocolate. What I really like are Cadbury cream eggs. The idea of eating an artificial egg may seem strange to some, but I love these things. They're my favorite part of an Easter basket.
