CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

Two college students have been arrested and a third is being sought for the setting fires and burning to the ground nine churches in Alabama.
Hope they get a good sentence.
In my area someone has been setting fires in one area where homes were under construction. One man and his family had two houses burn burned down on the same lot in a year and he has given up on building again.
The fire station in the area has had cars burned in the parking lot of the station belonging to police officers who park their police units there because they can't be taken out of the county.

I was happy to hear that they were caught. I was sad that they were students.

Personally, I'm hoping they find enough evidence to link all ten church fires together, or get a confession.

In Alabama the penalty for second-degree arson is 2-20 years in prison. There are ten accounts on the table, so that's a max of 200 years in prison if they're served consecutively.

The three students alledgedly set fire to the Alabama churches as "a joke", one of the 19-year old students said.

wow, as a joke? This arsonist either isn't really creative, or has a weird sense of humor

Well,that's good,but I never knew about this....until now.

Oh, I'm glad they were caught, I can't imagine how upset I'd be if someone burned my church down. Hopefully justice will be served.

The sad part was that they were enrolled at a private college affliated with the
United Methodist Church.

I feel the need to point out that everyone should keep this discussion nonpolitical, which essentially means everyone should limit their comments. Otherwise I have nothing of value to add.

I know here in town the Catholic church has been vandelized several times in the past couple years. At least they found those guys that did it. The only church fire we had here was when a church burnt to the ground, only by accident by the youth group, where a girl stuck her wet bathing suit and towels over one of those tall heater things :/ Apparently after it burnt down, I heard that one of the surviving objects, was a Bible that was open to a page that sai scripture on something about "the fire of God" or something along the lines involving fire :/
