Topic might be closed due to ethics/politicalness of the subject, but reason I'm posting it is for others to be aware of on the info that I JUST found about... (If topic does get closed umm... feel free to PM me?)
Well well, with technology today pushing EVERYTHING to its limit, I'm somehow not surprised, yet still creeped out about it due to movies that I didn't think would ever come real^^ Already we have androids in the process of being made, 3-D TVs, and what next? Well, when searching for my essay on recent cloning developments I was quite surprised...
Ok so they cloned a sheep. Everyone knows that. But in the past couple years flies, dogs, AND cats have been cloned! And not just that, if you've seen the movie The Sixth Day that deals with these cloning issues, you'd know that in the movie, a business was started to clone your dead pets so you can have the exact copy in the one you loss :/ (Question though: it's a clone so it'll look the same, but is it guaranteed that it will ACT the same?? And then I get confused cause in the movie it was almost like a "reincarnation" so what would the clone's soul be like and so on? 0_o *scratches head* >_<) Still, why? WHY?! And I'm NOT even going to get into the issue on that guy that was inpregnated >_<
Sometimes I love technology for new hip-things like... well just plain ol' entertainment like new TVs and sound systems, but no more playing around with things! Now my Oryx and Crake book's starting to freak me out >_< *doesn't feel like writing essay anymore* v_v
