Whenever a someone aims a camera at you, do you typically embrace a photo being taken of you, or dread it? I'm not the most photogenic person, which is odd because I love taking pictures. Group shots are a bit better in my case, but for the most part, I am definately a camera shy person.

Yes, I'm definetly a camera shy person. When someone just sticks a camera in my face I'm like @_@ Ahhh! And I always look really freaky. So yis, I know like when people try to take picture of me.

Even though I've posted a few pictures here, I don't like it much, either. People always catch me at bad angles or in bad situations. Of course, maybe I have nothing but bad angles or bad situations, but that's beside the point!

Just last night, I was leaving a friend's room and he wouldn't let me go until he had snapped a picture. When I asked for an explanation, he said, "With your coat and hat like that you kind of look like a street person." Geh! With friends like those, who needs enemies?!

I'm not camera shy. I like having my photo taken, although I do tend to blink during photos.

I am not, but I know people who are extreemly so, so I understand.

However I do feel that I need to say this-

"How many abadigitals do you see modeling?"

I'm more comfortable in group shots as well, and I don't mind if someone's trying to take a pic of me, as long as it doesn't interrupt my current task.
If it's like school photos (an interesting event for one homeschooled) I smile sweetly and try not to blink, but I don't like being so stiff or having the attention.

It doesn't help matters that I'm really not good at smiling. If I smile in a picture, it looks forced and stupid. XP

I don't mind. I just look at the camera and smirk. Evilly. The kind of smirk that suggests later revenge.

I don't like other people taking pictures of me. If someone needs to see my picture, I take them myself and take several shots until I get some that don't look absolutely horrible. (See avatar.) I also can't force a smile...it looks stupid. ._.

I can't take pictures of myself. For some reason, I end up looking depressed or something, which is not the mood I try to convey if I turn my camera so that the lens is focusing on me.

yeah, I hate my picture being taken,too. But I always love looking at pictures, so I try to bear the annoyance for the moment so I can appreciate the results for awhile

hmm... it varies in each situation for me when it comes to cameras... most people are hesitant to be photographed when they're sick or unshowered and i'd certainly fall in that group

I love having my picture taken! not that I look good in them, I tend to look like I have a hangover or am depressed. My ego keeps from caring to much lol

I'm rather neutral when it comes to having my picture taken. If given a second to compose myself, I'm fine, since after years of orthodontia (spelling) I at least have a decent smile. But if people are just running around snapping pictures, I'm not too keen on it. And if people take pictures of me on the sly (ie. sleeping) oooh, boy...

I don't like photos; doesn't matter if I'm sick or I've just got my hair done, chances are I still won't let anyone take pictures of me.

I don't mind having my photo taken. But I am not fond of the flash being used. It kinda makes me blind for a few seconds.

I love having my picture taking.

If you wait a bit to take my picture. You will get a picture of me doing some thing stupid!

As long as I'm not ready for a picture, it comes out okay. If I'm fully aware it's being taken, it doesn't look so good.

I used to be really camera shy...then somewhere along the way I lost that. It's easier for me now to give a genuine smile too. All my younger pictures always had such forced looking smiles.

Depends. If I know they are going to no mater what, I'll either ham it up, or cover my face. I like candid shots of myself though, oddly enough. When I dont know it is being taken and look natrual. I've always been facinated of candid photos of myself, the little kids way of thinking "is that how I look? really? hm..."

I don't know if anybody has done this before, but I sometimes 'photoshop' myself in the hopes of making an embarrasing shot of me look decent. Generally that's only if I don't look quite photogenic in the picture.
