The way you do tasks.

:O I would so love to do my work at once, but God knows I am lazy and would rather take breaks inbetween. Or relax before I work. ><;;

I typically do everything at once and then relax. If I end up taking too many breaks, it will get done way too late.

Yeah, I'm the taking breaks-type. I usually try to go for getting it all done in one shot, though. This usually works until my mind gets numb.

I also try to get it done in one fail swoop but I take breaks inbetween usually.

To an extent, it depends on the task. If the task is one which I could accomplish in one day's hard work, I would prefer to do it that way. On the other hand, if the task would require two days work, I prefer to stretch it out over 3-5 days with large breaks in between.

Generally 1 and 2. I try to get it all done at once, but when I end up working for 4-5 hours trying to get an obscure word processing program to print, I need breaks in between working.

I chose 2# but sometimes I do #3, and every once in a while I pull a #4. *sigh* I desperately need to learn to make and follow shcedules better.

I tend to do it all at once unless someone who is working with me insist on taking a break. I would much rather just get it done and over with. Or not even start if I didn't have to. ;) But once it's too late, I just want to get it out of the way.

I usually put it off as long as I possibly can. :sweat: There have been times when I actually do the work right away just to get it done and over with, but it depends on the task really.

i usually do things all at once, but that makes starting the hardest thing to do, and i often thereby put it off 'til the last minute

Most of the time I work in concentrated periods. However, I try to use my time effectively above all. For example, I have a job as a computer lab monitor that gives me a fair amount of free time. Therefore, though I might be able to complete all my work earlier, it would be easy to do it during my working hours, when I can be doing little else.

I usually take breaks between working on tasks. Especially when it involves studying or remembering certain things, it's much easier to retain knowledge when you're well rested.

If it's something I don't like to do, it's typically "Alright, let's get it over with." I don't procrastinate as much anymore. If I can't complete something on time, it's most likely because I have way too many other things to do.

If it's something I feel pretty happy with, I work on it during long timespans with breaks inbetween.

I must add that I severely multitask. :)

I prefer to do my work all in one chunck and then rest. People at work constantly nag for me to take my 30-minute break (as required by law) when all I want to do is finish my tasks. I do take breaks, but only when I'm required to.

I'm a very lazy person :lol:. It usually depends on what needs to be done though. If it's a history assignment, an english paper or chores, I'll be happy do do it as soon as possible. If it's some science or math project, I won't be as motivated to finish it. ^_^;

I used to be really lazy, but I'm not anymore (Although...I am once in a great while). I chose number 2, because I like to stop for a little while and figure out what to do next. ^_^

I study, take a breather (a quick 15 min. on CAA anyone?), and come back to what I was doing . Either I reread the or work the material to see if I still have it memorized or continue trying to memorize it in the first place. At work, I do everything as soon as possible and chores are for alternate weekends. This is an non-chore weekend.

I work and take breaks in between. From having tried the other options there already, I've found that this current option is the only one that works for me without exhausting me, and yet still gets me results.

Being the crazy (rather literally) architecture student that I am, #2 is usually how it goes for me. And sometimes I'm going for days with short breaks for food and naps.

But when it comes to writing papers, for some reason, I can only write last minute. (bad, bad Sara)

It depends on the task, and who I'm doing it for. If I'm working for someone else (i.e. a job), I tend to do want to get it done. Homework, starts as three, then morphs into two. Unless I delay so successfully that there is no time for breaks, in which case I work straight through. Chores are like homework, if they don't slip my mind all together.
