In what direction do you plan to take your life?

Now that doesn't mean God can't change that direction. :thumb:

As for me, I hope to join the military, probably Army, since I can't swim and I can't fly because I wear contacts....But after the military I plan to go to college and get my degree in commercial art and then go wherever God leads me! All I know is I wanna travel all over the world and see everything I can.

Ok your turn!

you should do college first cause that would give you more options while in the military, as well as give you a higher rank right off the bat.

Anyhow, somehow... someway... I'm gonna find a way to put my CS skills to work for Answers in Genesis.

well i'd rather have more options in college than in the military. if you go military than college you have some experience under your belt and colleges like that.

i was in the air force at one time but things didnt work out and bigzam just cause you have contacts dont meen you cant get in the air force, the air force isnt all about flying there is many other jobs as im sure there is many other jobs in the navy but im not sure about navy bootcamp as far as swimming goes..lol i made sure not to fall into the water on the obstacles just cause i cant swim either... but now im looking for a job so i'll be able to pay for college i plan on going for automotive technology and get an associates and a certificate and going to try and get ASE certified in as many things as i can and if that dont work out then heck i dont know what i'll do after that

College only gives you a higher rank if you go officer. Having college under your belt does absolutely nothing if you go enlisted.

I'm going this waaaay! ---------> (she went that way)

...XD; sorry, it had to be done. Anyways, I'm sitting on the very edge of a big turning point in my life...which is why I should be writing my college admissions essay instead of hanging around there. XP

I agree with kae on the part about having college under your belt doesnt do much one thing it does do is give you E-2 or E-3 depending on how long you were in college for i had a couple friends with bachloers or whatever that degree is lol and they were an E3 like me and i had no college what so ever and another thing is you could probably score higher in whatever aptitude on the asvab you were in college for..

Right now I'm a sophomore at Ole Miss University working towards a degree in Criminal Justice, after that it's law school, and ten years down the line I see myself working at the District Attorney's office as a prosecutor. Hey, maybe I'll end up a DA or a judge someday... maybe President... muahaha

Wherever God leads me. At the moment I don't know where that is but I'm creative and God's not stupid, so I think he will use the creative gifts he's given me for his Glory.

Dream: be a professional student and get many degree (to do nothing with)
be an exorcist and go world wide

Reality: become a teacher
become and exorcist

Into a precipice filled with burning tires and albums with William Schatner singing.

Or to a career in science.

First, going to school for animation (starting now)
Also, during this time, learn spoken Japanese
After school, learn written Japanese (all 1,945 Joyo kanji at least)
At the same time, get experience in animation... Try to get work on a game project as an animator
Go to Japan to visit, make contacts. Also visit E3 and TGS, if Possible. Network like crazy.
Go to Japan to live after groundwork is layed
Try to get grunt animation work in Japan for a while
Scout Christian Youth and college Groups in Japan and in Japanese heavy portions of the US (like right here in Azusa) to find people who will work in games (programmers, musicians, other animators, etc...)
Find someone who knows how to ask for money / make a presentation to borrow.
Get together a Christian game development team from the US and Japan (I'd prefer more Japanese, because I don't want this game to be considered any more "American" that it has to because I'm working on it)
Develop the game... Provided we make back enough to cover initial costs, work on more projects.
Sometime during all of this, I want to develop my own projects and write some books (at least 3 in one story, but also an Autobiography, if only for my friends, and some other stories I have floating around in my head)

Somewhere in that timeline, I want to get married... Of course, all of this is only if God is willing I live till then and doesn't change my plans for me.

I think I will get married within the next 3 years or so.

I may continue to take studies and eventually end up in a university somewhere, either doing research or teaching. Would like to focus on philosophy.

Using my knowledge and comics as a medium to reach out to comic readers for Christ.

Helping close friends around me and emotionally supporting them as long as I'm able to.

Well, I'm hoping to finish my studies in dentistry, but I also want to do something in art and maybe be a writer on the side too. Whatever works out though; God'll show me where He wants me to go. ^^ I definitely want to get married too, but I think it best that I finish college first.

Go to college, graduate.
Figure out which intrest to presue, nursing, teaching or psych...
If I go w/ psych, start volunteering at local womens shelters, group homes, ect...
Goal w/ psych: To work in a long term group home for troubled girls and women.

Goal w/ nursing: To be a cirtified nurse midwife.

Goal w/ teaching: To teach in a deaf middle school.

Also: to get married to a strong Christian man, have 3+ kids, continue growing in my relationship with God

I'm currently in college, so I will finish it.
My goal and vision is to become a successful author.
My definition of success is this: following God's will for my life. He wants me to prosper, and I fully intend on doing so.
I'll get married somewhere along the way--hopefully right after college.
I will keep on working in my church, helping to fulfill their vision.

Well, in terms of the overall direction, I am headed for death. Everything else I am less certain about.

In truth, I wish I had a clearer answer to this question.

Currently I am on the path to getting my master's degree. After that, God knows but I don't. Hopefully I will get a job doing R&D on new nuclear reactor designs for the government or private industry. I would love to work outside the US somewhere (engineers tend to export really well) but that's really in God's hands. However, I am definitely open to something else if the Lord wills.

Most likely in Ministry or Theology/Apologetics or something (They are all pretty much tied in I know) But something that deals with Counseling (They pretty much all go together eh?)

To be serious now, I have absolutely no freakin' idea whatsoever. Heh. Apparently God loves keeping me in the dark about everything.

Ha ha, nothing is certain but death and taxes.

I'm not entirely sure where I'm going, it's a bit blurry. I just hope that my parents support me through whatever though. :|

hm...what direction do i plan to take my life? Well, the general idea is to get another 4.0 (or as close as possible!) this next semester at college. To get into the honors program, to get my drivers license(yes i know..odd order of things), to get a quality paying summer job, and to see what my Sophomore year presents.

Amusingly enough though, my plans never mean jack. I never planned to be at the college i'm at, nor did i plan many other things that are going on right now. They sort of fall into my lap..and after cowering a bit, i accept them. it's as though God keeps throwing paper airplanes of destiny(tm) at me. XD

So yes...to be honest, i hope that God trumps a few of my plans and takes me for a wild scary adventure. They're much more enjoyable in the long run. :)

My journey will take me to Canada, in the province of Alberta. I plan to create a new web design company and immigrate to Canada under Self-Employment credentials. I should be able to do this in 2006.

In 2009, I will be eligible for Canadian citizenship.
