CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

I just don't get it...why do people come here just to troll us? It puzzles me...I mean, what did we do to them??? It's frustrating sometimes...I want to be a good witness to them...but I can't because they're so swift to get themselves banned. Does anyone else feel the same way??? Mods: I'm not saying you shouldn't ban trolls.

i have trillian, which is like an aim program, but you can talk to anyone with any instant messaging system. anyway. whatever you type, sometimes some words or phrases get underlined by a green dotted line. and when you hold your mouse over it, wiki tells you definitions and origins of that phrase. its so much fun. XD < it even tells you about that face!

They troll because they have too much pride factor.

We ban them quickly because we are quite aware of the younger members here: porn and stuff like that needs to be banned quickly because it's shameful, and the more subtle trolls-those who come and slyly decieve-need to be put out before they steer some of you guys away. I guess we feel a little bit like your shepherds and protectors--at least while you're here on the forums, and they are wolves trying to come and make us into liars.

People troll because they have nothing better to do with their time.

I think a lot of trolls are bored - idle hands do the devil's work.

lol good point SLJ. They probably just want to be annoying and see how much they can get away with is my guess. *shrugs* I've never been able to understand them.

Why do people troll? Thats an easy one. They want to make sure I keep my speed up as far as banning and deleting there garbage. A few of you may remember the early troll days when we moved the boards over...Gypsy Ash and I were like marathon troll banners.

Some are out for a challenge. They want to see how far they can test the limits of a system before being banned. It is a game to them because they do not know the effort that others put into it. I know this becuase I was talking with somone who thinks that that would be a fun thing to do, I attempted to dissuade him from ever attempting such an act, and for the moment I have been successful. If I ever find that he has come to CAA for such purposes, I will let the staff know.
