I'm working on a school assignment right now. I need to take pictures of some objects that symbolize courage. Anyone got any ideas?

The bald eagle is nationally accepted American symbol of courage, but, chances are, a million people will turn in photos of eagles.

That of a soldier as he/she is saying goodbye to their family before deployment would be good.
