Captain Jack, mostly known as one of the artists that did some songs in DDR (such as Dream a Dream, My Generation, Only You, etc) has passed away T_T.

Well technically Captain Jack is a duo.. but the male frontman (Francisco Alejandro Gutierrez aka Franky Gee) is pretty much who everybody associates with "Captain Jack"

Maybe I'll go play DDR... in memory of him or something

I am sorry to hear this too. When CSMAC members got together on Sundays, they would compete against each other doing DDR in between anime showings. I got to enjoy listening to the music in the game and when the music was used for the DDR Project music videos even better how it was used. Captain Jack's "The Race" and "In The Navy" were good.
I have the DDR CDs which I enjoy also.

Silly me. I thought you'd meant that Johnny Depp died.

That's sad; I recognized the name from DDR even though I dont own it and spend very little time at arcades!

And no i didnt for a minute think this was about Captain Jack Sparrow!
