Was there ever any product that, while on sale, you couldn't imagine living without, and yet now that they're gone, you just happen to be living without them?
Mine would be:
1. Surge soda. What happened? The green stuff was goooood! I heard a rumor that it was cancelled because it had too much caffeine...but seeing as drinks like Red Bull are being sold now that doesn't make any sense.
2. Spray-on lotion. I'm not a lotion-applying type of person, never have been. I liked just spraying the stuff on and swiping it, and yay, my skin's nice! I can't find it anywhere though.

Orbitz. It was a clear sweet drink in a glass bottle, with floating (edible, sweet) orbs in it. That was cool.

Back in the 80s there was a cereal called Smurf Berry Crunch that I totally loved, but then they went and added marshmallows to it. It wasn't the same...and it wasn't long after that that it disappeared altogether. Then there were the Magic Middles cookies by Keebler! MMM! A lesser known product called Suddenly S'mores was also very tasty; you just popped 'em in the microwave for about 10 seconds, and the chocolate and marshmallow would get all melty...ahhh.... Oh, and does anyone else here remember P.B. Maxx? MAN I loved that one!! In fact, everyone I knew who'd tried it loved it! Why in the world was it discontinued??

Starburst Fruit Twists. They were like Twizzlers, only about a thousand times better. I miss them...

It wasn't. It was in a bottle similar to melted I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, or a squirt bottle but with a pump instead of a nozzle.
And it's their fault if they squirt lotion into their eyes. Honestly.

Over here we had a short-lived Fanta soft-drink called FANTA NAARTJIE. A naartjie is off course the local word for a tangerine, used by both English and Afrikaans speaking people. It tasted great - but didn't make it. There was also a soft-drink called "Mellow Yellow" that was great as well. All of this is lost in time like tears in rain.

This one isn't necessarily discontinued so much as never made available up here in the Great North. When my parents returned home from their vacation driving around the western US last year, they brought a bunch of little chocoate bars home with them. One particular flavor I liked very much, but...
Why, oh why, don't they make 100 Grand up here in Canada? ;__;

They don't make Mellow Yellow there anymore?! Wow, it's still very popular here!

Sour cream and chive noodles. :/ Seriously, I could have lived off of those things.
Also, I really liked Citra. I'm not too certain why they took that off the market either, just like with Surge.
Going out of the food trend a bit...LA Looks used to make perfumed spray for hair. It was like hair perfume...specifically made for hair to freshen it up. I used to work in a produce department, so inevitably, I would smell like rotten fruit or something sometimes. If I wanted to go out that night after work with friends who were impatient and didn't want to wait any longer than necessary to go bowling or something, that spray allowed me to go home, take a shower, spray the stuff in my dry hair and be good as new in 10 minutes flat. I miss that stuff.

The cheesy puffy chips they used to sell that you ate and it turned your tongue blue. Those were so cool. ^^ or some of the sodas back a while ago were better than they are now. There are a lot of things I miss that have been discontinued. -.-;;;

1.) Buzz Lightyear cereal! That cereal was awesome! What is the matter with them?!?! I loved Buzz Lightyear ceral! MONSTERS!
2.) PUFFALUMPS. I have 3 bears, a horse, and a puppy. They discontinued puffalumps for no good reason! I guess they weren't selling as well as they could have, though. They're rare now. ;_; Tis a tragedy.

Fizzy Tablets: Turn any glass of water into any flavor that the tablet was made up of and watch it fizz.
Kool Aid flavors that are not made anymore. One of them was Root Beer.
Grape Pop Tarts.
I can think of toys that companies made for a while and disappeared.
There were building sets that looked like you were building a building with pastic beams and panels. They even put the toys in cereal boxes to get the kids to bug their parents to buy the sets.
When cereal companies had more items to put in the boxes to get kids to buy the cereal.
