I'd like to know what "Death's Proposal" would be in french.
I tried doing it myself and came up with "Proposition De Mort"
If any one could tell me if that's correct or not I'd really appreciate it.

"La Proposition De la Mort" maybe?

I know nothing about French grammar, but la means the? so doesn't that say "the proposal of the death"?

Articles in French aren't quite like those in English. Normally for "of" you would use "de la" for a feminine object, "du" (a contraction of "de" and "le") for a masculine object, and "des" for a plural object.

However, other phrases with the word "mort" are constructed with just "de." For example, the death penalty is "peine de mort" (more literally,"pain of death.") So, the phrase that you want should be "La proposition de mort."

I could be mistaken, though; it has been a few years since I took a French class.

Would it be said differently if Death was an actual person making a proposal?

That's correct to the best of my knowledge as well.
