high school football

yo everyone, this is for anyone to talk about there hs football team and their games during the football season.
My team is the number one in the state, and ranked 14 in the nation, our first game was against evangel in the border bowl and we stomped them 30 something to 3, and our first home game last night was against the number 1 team in oklahoma, and we slaughtered them, 44 to 0, oh btw for those who are bandies you can also talk about your band here too, our band is one of the top in the state, so have fun, not that ya know any one cares

Our football team is not the greatest, but it's getting there. Hopefully. ><

Ours is pretty good, we won 3 out of 4 games, the one we lost was a team that was 5A, and we are 2A.

Though I graduated long ago, I'm a big HS football fan and go back to watch my team almost every Friday night in the Fall, home or away. We're never national caliber, but we're generally state-ranked within our class. Right now we're 3-1 and sitting at 8th or so in 5A. I feel that we have some talent and speed but are a bit undersized at certain positions, like QB. I think we have a good chance to go 8-1 during the regular season, though, and get a good playoff seeding, God willing. It's hard to beat Friday nights under the lights. ^___^

yeah, hs football rocks, actually the head coach at one of the local high schools around here has won more games than any other coach in football, that goes for college and pro, to my knowledge the team hasn't done well enough to get any national recognition, but it is almost always one of the last teams in the state playoffs

So is anyone on there football team? I am. The JV that is. Where a smaller school though. Right now our varsity isn't doing to well. But on the JV where 3-1 and are first game, which was the one we lost, was a complete flook. Where hoping to go 8-1 and win our devision. Once this JV team is the varsity team we might actaully be able to do pretty well.

yeah, i was in the marching band during my high school days too, i played trumpet and baritone, what do u play?

Our HS has a pretty good band. It's much bigger than when I was in HS. I used to be a percussionist--cymbals my freshman year, then trios/quads. I enjoyed that a lot. Our team wasn't as successful when I was in HS, but I still enjoyed the games.

i had to play flute in the orchestra because i was a cheerleader and i couldnt do both marching band and cheer.

i play 1st trumpet, its my senior year too

We are 4-1 and God willing should go 8-1 and get a good playoff spot. Then it will get tough in a hurry.

my hs had football but we alllllways lost... and i did cheerleading for them.... when i had to say "We're # 1"... it was all tongue in cheek and laughs.
