Do you eBay?
If so, do you sell, or just buy?

You have to pay to sell, so I only buy.

I do, but I only buy. In fact, I just ordered some comic books last week that came in today.

I only buy. But it is a fun place to shop. Btw, just a mod note. Please no linking to auctions you may be having on at the moment. Thanks ^^.

I used to buy until I figured the "import" DVDs were Chinese bootlegs, I bought fansubs until I decided it wasn't that far off from boots. I'll occasionally do it when I want some import movie poster artwork or something out of print.
Never tried selling. I have a lot of anime DVDs I want to get rid of, but I worry I'd lose money if the item failed to sell well.

Never sold anything but bought a Marvel card pack once and maybe a few small things in the past. I never buy bootlegs or any other imitations of the original product, it's just not the same. I kind of also worry about losing money off something if I tried to sell it. Things like Beanie Babies I'd love to get rid of. I'll probably just put them out for garage sales though. ^^;;;

Buy mostly (too much). Sell sometimes (selling something now, in fact).

I only buy because you have to give your bank routing number to sell. I don't feel comfortable giving my checking account info. At least with a credit card I can dispute a fraudulent charge.
But yeah, I just bought my text book from ebay.

I've bought a DVD or two off there, some rare Tintin videos, the complete Tintin adventures on dvd, N64 paraphenallia, a book of Flash cartooning and some other stuff. Ebay's good but don't get addicted to it!

I like selling. I feel really happy when something goes for a lot of money, more than I expected. :3
Most of the time, I'd rather buy things in stores, so I don't have to pay for shipping. Or I buy books and CDs on Amazon. But I have bought things from eBay and been happy with them.

I like bidding mostly. I just got started with ebay a month ago, and I love it! Although...I'm currently loosing a bid on a SWEET 160GB hard drive that started out at $0.99...and I'm on a budget...excuse me.

I know what you mean. Money can be frustrating sometimes...Especially when you want to buy, buy, buy your way to a new world of your current obsessions. I hardly ever buy anything on ebay though. Usually its because I've seen my brothers (who have boughten more things off of ebay than me) get ripped off. It makes me nervous and mad that there are actually so many dirty people out there. I'm trying to be careful with me money also even though sometimes its really hard.^^;;;

I've only bought before. However, I need extra money and I have TONS of collectibles lying around my apartment just gathering dust, so I'm considering taking up selling.

I've sold before, but I mostly buy. eBay is a major Godsend when searching for old import games for Famicom ect.

Selling isn't as expensive as you think. It costs 35 cents to list, 25 cents to list if you charge like 95 cents for the starting bid. (And more if you start the bid a lot higher!)
I don't remember how much it costs if you sell something, but it's not much (a percentage, I think). Just add a little bit extra to your shipping costs for fees.
I find that if I list a bunch of things and sell even just a few I can cover my fees easily.
There is a learning process, but I think it's easier and less expensive than people think to sell on eBay. (Unless you don't have a digital camera. Then it might be hard. :/ )

For my brother to sell something it cost about $2.25 I think to put it up. He just sold something also. I'm so happy for him! ^.^

Ebay can actually be pretty helpful in buying things but I would rather go to amazon or some other trustworthy place on the internet for Anime. I would never go to ebay for that sort of thing, all I get for results would be bootleg central. I hate bootlegs!
