well I was noticing on the television the other day that the news was talking about online communities like Myspace.com, I was wondering,

does anyone here use an online community like myspace, and do you consider these boards to act as a "community?"

Netcraft reports that myspace.com is running IIS 5.0 on Windows 2k.

Man Faye has a myspace page.

I don't.

Everyone and their mother has a myspace.

But why would you want to go a site where everyone's picture is the same "idontcareaboutsocialconcernssoi'lltakeaweirdlyangledpictureofmyselfsopeopelwitlllikeme"

'yo, you iz hot, grl. man. you iz so hot. will you be mah myspace friend yo? cause dat would be da shiznite. and dawg. you is hot. yeah. date me." and my friend like like... wth?

so id rather not get barraged with 'you iz s00 hot.' emails. >.<

I have a myspace, though it's really a joke. And technically it's not MINE, it's my character Torres's.

As for what I personally think of myspace: let's say Torres isn't the brightest bulb on the tree.

I dislike myspace immensly. I find it pointless more or less and frankly... if i want to find people in my area I can leave my house.

Telling you what I thought of myspace would probably get me banned 5,000 times over.

the reason I have mine is to keep in touch with my church friends... who ALL use myspace... BAH they need to switch something better

years and years ago i made an account. I still get wierd emails telling me people comment and send messages to me. I don't really care since i've withheld like all my personal information =)

I have a myspace but my original intention for creating it was to look at someone's pictures. (Is that shallow or what?) I didn't even bother to set it up completely until one of my childhood friends that moved to Germany used Myspace to find me. Turns out he moved back into town and kept asking around for me but couldn't find a single trace so he turned to the internet. So the two of us had a nice reunion and we're now good friends again. The end.

So basically; get a myspace, find childhood friends.

I do find it very annoying, however, that 30 year olds in my area can stalk me with it. I went into our Target once and one of the cashiers with a bald spot complimented me on mine. I haven't been in Target for awhile.

I dislike myspace immensly. I find it pointless more or less and frankly... if i want to find people in my area I can leave my house.

I have a myspace, my friends kinda set it up for me, and all of a sudden i get a message saying "welcome to myspace" I was like , "what the flying monkeys"

and its annoying, how all these people want to be your "FRIENDS" CREEPY STALKERS,

Myspace is full of pics of guys with their shirts off, holding their breath while flexing, with "tough" looks on their face, I'll pass.

I have a Myspace and I quite like it.
My only problem with it is that because it's free, their servers aren't the most reliable around.
