Okay, this is something I'm curious about.

You know the stereotype of "tall, dark, and handsome?" Well do most girls really go for guys who are taller?

Please don't be offended anyone, because I'm pretty sure none of us girls here would choose a guy on height alone!!! But I'm curious to know if most girls *do* find height attractive in a guy.

I, personally, don't. I tend to think guys about my height or a bit taller are cooler than guys who really tower over me.

(Again, I'm sure we girls wouldn't pick someone just for height, so please don't take offense, guys. One of my brothers is very tall and I love him anyway!!)

Yeah, I do like guys to be taller than me.

I think guys around my height are "cuter," and guys who are really tall are "hotter" (in general, although sometimes this isn't true, I find that a large amount of the time it is.) And both are good in my book. So I don't discriminate toward ANY height, ha ha. I don't really like the shorter than me thing, though, but if worst comes to worst I accept it and move forward. And since I'm 5'8" I'm not usually taller than many guys my age, so it's all good.

I've never felt attracted to any guys shorter than me. Although, I did fall for the tall, dark and handsome type....oddly enough, my boyfriend is blonde, blue-eyed, and not a WHOLE lot taller than me. Just that perfect height. XD

I'm 6'2", so I'm not too worried about this.

Everyones taller then me unless they are in elementary school so theres no question.

Well, at 5'2" most guys are taller than me, so yes, I'm attracted to taller guys. I would have to say that, maybe because of my lack of height, I'm especially attracted to guys that are like 6 foot or more.

Tall guys are cool. Average guys are cool. Short guys are cool too. I'm pretty much okay with whatever, but actually going out with a guy shorter than me would be weird.

Here's a tall girl's answer...

I'm 5'11", so I'd feel more comfortable if the guy was taller than me...
Could be 1" or more, but shrugs, God knows best...

Slightly taller than me would be ideal. I never have problems finding guys taller than me since I'm short, even by Asian standards. ^___^

I think shorter guys are cute, extremely taller guys are like teddy bears and normal height guys are Really nice too. I just like guys, ya know? It mostly depends on the temperment of the guy. Is he stuck up? That kinda thing.

Same here. Though size doesn't really play at all in how I view a guy (even unconsciously). Not to pretend I don't have shallow preferences in guys (love t3h Asians...). But I did almost go out with a guy exactly a foot taller than me once...

I think because all woman do have a desire to feel protected by their significant other, that's a big part of why they want the man to be taller than them. It's nothing personal. XD

Yeah, with that said, I'd like guys who are taller than me.

I like tall guys...but I wouldn't want TOWERING over me!!! Hmm I guess at least 5 inches taller than me?? Ack! Who cares? -0-;;; hehe

I'm 5' 11 1/2" (the and 1/2 is all i got in height over my sister... so it stays...), so God gave me a vast pool to guess which one is my perfect match... boy, He likes to make it hard, don't he!

i don't know if this is a bad thing to say but i prefer tall buys...i'm very short so most people i know are taller than me...all my guy friends are above 6 feet but i've never really considered dating any of them...they're like family so it'd be wierd... ...i don't judge a guy by his height but for me the tall guys are definitely the cutest...

I mostly like taller guys, but I know a few guys who are shorter and cute.
