Just curiuous... What are the gas prices in your area?
It's 2.99 9/10 for the cheap stuff here (see location under name.)

That's the cheapest I've seen

Here in Austin it went from 2.47 to 2.82 in one night for the low grade.
I'm thinking of investing in a motorcycle or a moped. Gas Mopeds may be a bit slow (65mph max) but they get about 80-150 miles per gallon. economical indeed for just running errands around town. In the next few weeks I'm going to get my class M license.

Haven't been outside today, but looking on GasBuddy, it seems like it's $1.135 around where I live.
That is $1.135 per
LITRE!!

Seriously, I live within walking/biking distance of whatever I need (including a bookstore where I can buy manga). I am happier now more than ever that I don't have do deal with a car and all the financial hassle that goes with it.

It's bad. I know that much. Like 3.85 per Gal. We're just not buying and are stranded at home for now.

Cheapest I've seen it here is 2.59, and back home in Houston it's 3.00
By the way guys, please keep this strictly posting prices, and nothing political or it'll get locked.

$3.28 was the price when I left campus today.
I'm so glad I don't have to drive much.

3.09-3.65, mattering where in town you look.
I heard somewhere (far away) that they already hit $6
Ebil gas!!

2.91 and rising.

Uh, yeah, It's 3.50 a gallon here.
They're saying that we're going to run out of gasoline by the end of the week. It's kind of scary going to gas stations and every pump having a hand made sign saying "empty." It's just. . . weird.
Needless to say, we're not driving much.

Hey be sure to point out which grade of gasoline, if you can.
(Heh, if this did turn political, I'd shoot myself...)

Oh at this point, I'll be surprised if anyone uses premium grade anymore.
I'm so not travelling anywhere for a long time and I'm glad that I carpool to work. I feel sorry for my colleagues who commute to work for 1/2 hour to 1 hour on a daily basis.
I guess I can't imagine how awful it must be for those who commute for longer times...(^___^);;;;

I remember when it's was 2.50 a gallon when we had our boat. I can't imagine the prices out on the lake. Heh, when you're out on the lake and need fuel, you're stuck big time...

My Dad was worried we had sold out of gas here. He checked around then called me because he was afraid I might get stranded trying to get home. The highest gas I saw on the news was $5.97 at a Bp somewhere, for regular.

...$5.79? *dies* I'm glad I just have a little Honda Civic...

I'd be right behind you, buddy.
How high are the prices supposed to go, anyway?

Good question. Supposedly, they'll go down at least some in the next few days, but there is no telling how high gas will go.
