Instant Plaster, Without the Plaster!!!!!!

Hiya! I invented something!

There was this animal track I found that I wanted to fill in with plaster so I could "have a copy" but I didn't have any. Then I thought about wet paper and how it dries after a while, so on a whim I shredded toilet paper and squished it into the track. In about an hour (maybe less), I pulled the paper out and it had made a perfect "cast" (or mold) of the track!!!! That was two years ago, and guess what...it's STILL intact!!!! Try it sometime!

Tip: The more shredded and soaked the toilet paper is, the better. I haven't tried any other paper, but I know the toilet kind works.

paper mache is done with starch and newspaper which is a bit less shredded than the case here. It seems that the idea in mind is to use paper pulp to construct a totally nasty but very effective plaster...
