If you could change your name to anything in the world ... what would it be?

First, last or whole name.

I would change my name to Batman.

or perhaps be refered to as "Mr.Rogers is Batman." Kind of like a title.

Either or would be fine.
-------

But in all seriousness, I like the name I have. It's from The Bible and such.. Plus, have you ever known someone and you think to yourself how people look like their name? Maybe not, but I couldn't see myself as a Robert, Donald, Dean, Alex or as any other name.

I'm content with my given name: Daniel A. S.
It's fine by me :P

My personal name would be "Kai."

Kai.

Kai!!!!!1!!!!!!! ;)

Um, I'm okay with my name. It's fine. Some people confuse it with "Alicia," but that's all right. There are very few people named Alice around these days. And most of those are older.

One of my pet peeves, though, is when people use the name "Alice" in fiction, and use it in a derogatory way. Like "Go Ask Alice," a book about a teen drug addict. And stuff like that. (That's not the only time I've seen it, either.)

hm...I've always wanted to change my name. XD I've never really liked it, but I can't think of anything I'd want to change it to - probably something Japanese, since I'm jealous of all my relatives who have Japanese names. I'd also like to change the spelling of my middle name. Lee Ann (which is what it is legally right now) to Li'an, which is what it really is supposed to be. ^^; Long story. My parents thought I would hate it, so they decided to Anglecize it.

Well, my full name is Joshua Christopher [last name not written for obvious reasons].

I've already changed it to just Joshua Christopher.

Nice. Very nice.

My name is Hope Vanessa (insert last name here). I DESPISED my first name growing up because it was so different from all the other kids. When I got about 16, however, I realized that my parents had given me something of a gift. My parents put thought into my name and I wouldn't change it. They called me Hope because the doctor said my mother wouldn't have anymore children. My middle name, Vanessa, means butterfly. I think the two names and their meanings fit rather well together.

I'm quite happy with my name now, though I'm not fond of my last name. It's the subject of too many corny jokes. e_e I think I've heard them all. However, one day (God willing) I will marry and my last name WILL change. I'll just have to make sure it's to something nicer than what I have now.

<.< Watch. For that comment, God is going to laugh when I fall in love with someone He's picked out that has an awful last name.

I really like my first name, but if I ever become an opera singer I think Vanessa would be a wonderful stage name :D It's sophisticated and fitting for a classical singer.

I like my name how it is, but if I were to change it, I'd consider going with some of my favorite anime characters. Kero/Kero-chan/Kerberos, Satoshi, Haku/Kohaku/Nigihayami Kohaku Nushi (though I doubt it'd fit ^^; ), etc. I also like the name of my super hero: Unmeiryuu.

Lately, I think Nadia is such a beautiful name. It's the pits it totally wouldn't work with my last name...

It's somewhat unrelated, but there's a town, Nojack, here in Alberta, and I've officially decided it would be so awesome to be a guy named Jack who moved from Nojack.

Man, when I was a kid, I hated my name...now that I think about it, I have no idea why. Probably because my parents yelled at me so much.

Parents: "MELISSA, GET IN HERE!"
Me: *runaway!*

So yeah...it was probably psychological. Now I have other psychological screwups, so I like my name again.

If I wanted to change it, though...it might be to a Biblical name ^^

I'd probably change my name to one of the names I plan on giving one of my future kids, lol. When I started collecting FMA and saw the name Winry, though, I was like "Wheeeee! I love that name!!!" So I might go with Winry. And then people that were my good frineds could call me Winny! He he he. . . I'm sure that's what Osaka would call me anyways, she already calls me something completely different from the rest of my family because she couldn't quite pronounce my name as a child, ha ha. . . Osaka and I both have names that you don't hear every day, and I didn't like it so much as a kid because kids with more average names thought my name was unusual and I thought that was a problem then. Now I'm like, "Ummm, what's wrong with having a name that isn't usual??" Which is why I wouldn't mind being named Winry. . . now I'm rambling, sorry! So, Winry! I'd go with Winry!

I didn't like my name when I was younger since it's not too common. However, I've grown to appreciate it and thank my parents for being thoughtful while picking my name.

I was informed of the names that didn't make it: Majorie, Magdeline, Mallory, Maureen, Sophia, Solitaire (<---I think my mum was pulling my leg with the last one)

Ranma Saotome!

Ok...now on a serious note if I were to change just my first name I would
change it to John since somehow it goes better with my middle name
which happens to be Calvin,so I could be John Calvin! :thumb:

On the other hand if I wanted to change my full name I would
change it to the same as one of my 5xs great grandfathers and then
I would be(drum roll please):GEORGE WASHINGTON!

Well my first name is Rachelynn and used to hate it with a passion. I would actually tell people my name was Bob because I hated it so much. I thought it sounded weirdly foreign. But now I like it , I still think it sounds sorta foreign but I like it now.

My last name though, if I ever change it, I'd change it to my mom's maiden name.

I don't hate my first and middle name, but compared to all of yours, Carla Jean sounds too plain-Jane. Heh, it's just me. I used to think my first name was bleh. I guess if I COULD change my first and middle names, it'd be Jenna Marie. I just think it sounds prettier.
