There was another case where a kid in Hong Kong who played Diablo 2 (this was years ago) came home one day to find that his game account got hacked into, and without thinking, committed suicide by jumping out of his window (he lived in a high rise apartment block).
These people need Jesus Christ. I think that's why it's a good idea to try to find out more about the people we are playing with in online games. Sometimes during a lull in the game action we can chat to them, find out what they do for a living, like / dislike, etc.
Who knows, we may have helped them get through another tough day or see things from another perspective.

Based on other news sources, he was playing Starcraft. Apparantly, online gaming is treated as something akin to a sport in South Korea.
You know, I don't even know how he did it this long. I can't concentrate properly unless I eat and sleep...
