Hello. I'm about to enroll into home school. I have some questions.

1. Im going to become a senior, can I still be homeschooled?
2. How is your schedule set up? (study, work, rest)

1. Yes, you can.

2. Homeschooling is different for everyone. I follow a cirriculum, where you do 5 hours of school, from 9:00-3:00 with a one hour lunch at 12:00. It all really depends on what curriculum you take, but some don't have a time limit, some you just finish you school work whenever during the day, no time limit or anything.

1.) Yes, you can still be homeschooled. My 3 older sisters all were.

2.) We start school around 10 a.m. and usually are finished by 1 p.m. That is, if we don't fool around and goof off. Lol.

I'm not THE most qualified person to answer this, but from what I understand it varies from college to college. It depends on how your high school diploma is accredited. If the program you use is accepted by the college you're applying to, then you're good to go. However, leaps and bounds have been made for homeschooled kids that want to go to college, so I could be totally off here. I was only homeschooled for 3 years, and put into public school so I COULD get a public diploma and not worry about it. ^^;;

Zilch pretty much answered your questions really well. And it really depends on the college that you're planning on going to. I've heard that many of them are making it a lot easier to except homeschoolers. I couldn't really tell you how to go about applying correctly though.

The way we do school around here is as follows:

my parents come up with a schedule of classes. "Biology from 9:00 - 9:50", or "Literature from 10:00 - 10:25." In general, we get a ten minute break to just do whatever inbetween fifty minute classes and a five minute one in between twenty-five minute classes. It sounds all strict and a major bummer, but it's actually quite flexible!

For college, you don't have to follow a specific cirriculum so much as have accredited studies, like math and so on. I do credits at the end of my semesters, like 1 credit for math and so on. It's pretty similair to public school, but everyone has some different variations and there's no real "one" way to go. If there was, then there wouldn't be much difference between homeschooling and public schooling.
