Yup. I'm BACK! Man I had SO much fun! I haven't had that much fun in a loong time. There's just so much to say.
Oh we were in this parking lot in the huge youth van and everybody started rocking it up and down and side to side. A bunch of people were staring and laughing. We actually almost tipped the whole van over! ^^;; Man that was fun.
One of the kids got this football that we were playing with stuck in this steeple thing on the roof of the the SECURITY building of all places. Jeff and my brother lifted me up so I could grab onto the gutter and pull myself up, then I climbed up to the top where the steeple was and tossed the football down. I almost slipped and fell off because it was really steep and it was wet,... ok, then the security lady came outside and saw me up there and she went inside and actually called the cops. Well...we call them "Rent-A-Cops" Because they we just grumpy security guys that were being paid for it.
So I jumped off the roof and landed in some bushes then we all dove in the van and Kevin (our pastor) slammed the gas. We flew down this back alley that said Do not enter and hit a bunch of speed bumps, almost tore out the vans brakes, nearly hit this guy, almost went into a ditch, then we skidded around this corner and hid the van behind these bushes near the security building, then Kevin slammed the pedal down all the way and we skidded for a second then took off and tore past the security building, parked behind our dorm and we all scrambled out and ran inside and locked the door. That was the most fun I've ever had in my life. It turned out that the cops weren't even chasing us. ^^;;; But we got our nerf football back, then we ended up tearing it in half that night playing with it.
We played SO much ultimate frisbee. We got some kids from the other youth group to play with us and got a big game going every night after worship service. I'm not trying to brag but I don't think I've ever played better. Everybody was complimenting me on it...I played so hard that I actually threw up after, but it was FUUUUUN!!!! Me and Logan got all bloody diving and stuff
I made a few new friends too, Drew and Ryan, who played Ultimate frisbee with us
Let's see.....we played a bunch of pranks on each other, which was hilarious.
Oh, at the last worship service any youth that wanted to could get up in front and share their testimony or experiences from the trip, and even though I was scared stuff I did it and spoke in front of like 100+ people. ^_^ I'm not good at public speaking but everybody seemed to like it.
Ahh..there's just so much to talk about but I can't remember some of it, I just know that it was all really really fun!
Oh! Me and Tom took these office chairs and took them to this long hall, then we'd get a running start and fly down the hall on them. Tom smacked into the wall once and nearly broke the chair. Lol. That was funny. Ahh...we had so much fun.
