Well, this is just a wierd little post... it is actually really late at night (or early in the morning) but I am too excited about leaving for Japan tomarrow to sleep....


Anyway.. HEre it is... Why is your avatar what it is? Do you think you avatar reveals alot about yourself, and is that why you picked it, or was it just randomness?

I like my current one for now because it was me in a pretty goofy mood and I decided to make an unusual face at the camera... anyway.. I am a really wierd guy... and I take pride in that.. I am a Nerd and proud of it!!!!

I guess you could say I have a slight crush on the character to put her up as my avy. ^_^

Though another explanation would be that she represents my love for Clamp anime, especially Magic Knight Rayearth.

I chose mine cause I was on a Madness Combat (http://www.madnesscombat.com) binge when I decided to open photoshop

I picked mine because it spoke to me and reflects myself on the inside.

I just liked it, is all...it's recognizable and it's goofy. And it moves!!! hahaha it also scares some people.

I have my avatar because ... I really don't have a good answer for that one. I've just always used it.

Mine is because I adore Tanemura Arina's art; I'm sure this statement is a total suprise to many of you older members here. Plus, I physically resemble Maron from KKJ--brown eyes, brown hair, and an all too trusting personality. Save a brief period of unabated star wars fandom, my avatars are ALWAYS tanemura-drawn.

Hmm, mine is an angsty goth mutant clone from the cover of an X-Men comic. I'm not entirely sure how that reflects on me. I just loved the art and I liked the look on her face, plus the windblown hair is cool.

Honestly, I'm thinking about switching avatars pretty soon. I want to use my own art. I'm currently eyeing a portion of a blinding red and green self portrait I did, it's either that or I might use on my own characters, a few of them are reptiles, which would be fitting.

[SPOILER=Rurouni Kenshin]I realized that Kaoru becomes a bit of a wanderer/rurouni herself when Kenshin leaves for Kyoto, since she leaves her dojo and everything to go after him. My avitar is a screenshot of the scene where Kenshin leaves, so I guess it kind of makes sense...Or maybe I'm just thinking too hard! XD[/SPOILER]

Anyways, I just used that avi originally because I thought it looked cool, and it's of Kaoru, who's in my username anyways...haha!

Ummm... I'm indecisive.

And so I have no avatar.

The only avatar I ever had here was a picture of Tingle from Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask artwork, with a huge red X over it. It went above the user title, "NOT a Tingle fangirl", since Vyse was constantly telling people I loved that character... He even put it in his sig that I wanted to cosplay as Tingle or something like that. o_O


I've wanted a Tree avatar for a while, though (to match my SN). And I want to change it for the seasons... but I have yet to draw the trees.

I love Escaflowne and what better way to show my love for it, then have a Van and Hitomi looking into each others eyes.


I have a thing for love stories and my icon is fitting how much they both care for each other.


Also, some people think I act a little like Van IRL.

Mine is a drawing I did and coloured into Photoshop. That's just I suppose its how I picture myself in my mind. It looks nothing like me.

My avatar is just the command prompt in Gentoo. It had been Link for a while, but then I changed it to Archangel from the Xmen.

Mostly, it relflects what I'm thinking about/find amusing at the moment. For instance, right now, I need to find an image of Tony Shaloub in Spy Kids.

My avatar doesn't really have much to do with me; cept that I made a wallpaper recently with this same chick in it. Though, if we want to get all 'deep and meaningful' here, I suppose that this avatar could reflect my desire to draw closer to the Lord and to be blameless before Him.

My avatar is of Tintin, the boy adventurer. I enjoy the books greatly and have even dressed up us Tintin for my 21st. His hairstyle is cool and I thought many of the clothes from the 20's/30s were very interesting!

My avatar is a picture of one of my characters. It's wearing a jester hat because I love hats, enjoy being odd (in moderation ) and I love drawing.

My avatar's a knight because I believe in many of the ideals that the knights are supposed to have upheld.

Prowess, Justice, Loyalty, Defense, Courage, Faith, Humility, Largesse and Nobility.

That, and i really like the way that it was drawn.

It was an attempt at an anime version of myself. I drew it on paper, and then fixed it up and colored it on MS Paint.

Thanks CreatureArt! After reading Sir Walter Scott's Ivanhoe and The Talisman, I decided to borrow the title that King Richard had used.

As a title, I think that CreatureArt fits you very well. All of the creatures that you've posted in the art center look amazing! (Especially some of your realistic looking ones!)

Did it take you a long time to draw your avatar? (Awesome job with the coloring btw!)

Mine is Christopher Wordsworth. He is the mostly overlooked nephew of William Wordsworth. Currently he is wearing a patriotic hat and watching fire works. This is because it is July. At christmas he will be wearing a santa hat.

I do not to my knowlege resemble this person in any way.

He has very little if any significance to me.

He looks grumpy and I like that.

I dont think it tells you anything about my personality.
