Are there any anime conventions near Chicago? I recently found out that someone is from there and that person thought AX looked like fun.

Yeah GenCon is here in downtown Indianapolis August 17-21. I'll be going with my cousin.

Except GenCon Indy is a big one and it's not even on there. Maybe it's because it's a game related convention before an anime one.
