Taking away the Ten Commandments in public places?

I usually like to talk with other believers and get their opinions about what is going on in the world today. I just heard early this week that the Supreme Court made a ruling that any monument of the Ten Commandments cannot be displayed in a public place. They say "it is promoting religion in a place where it does not belong." To whoever is reading this, what do you think about problem?

This will get closed soon, so I will be brief--I don't like this one bit. It is sad to see a nation turn against its religious and moral roots for the sake of "PC".

I agree with Inegmar...I hate this too...
we talked about this in church today, however...and I heard a very good point..It is good to not want this to happen...but how many of us know exactly WHAT the Ten Commandments even are? Can we list them easily? Do we obey them?
I think before I say anymore about this subject..I better get to know what these are exactly..I mean I KNOW what they are...and I know the majority of them...but how Can I say, "It is wrong to show these in public" when I might not even be following them?
I think I am being a bit hypocritical.. ^_^;
