My family is going to Ohio and coming back on Tuesday. We'll be watching the fireworks in Columbus and visiting my grandparents. For all who live there, try to catch me waving at you! ^^ Goodbye; I'll miss you all!

Mou. You leave way too much. Next time, I'm going to have to tie you to something stable. Like...the CAA database, perhaps...

Oooo. I'll be near Columbus watching fireworks, too. I'll be sure to wave back! Perhaps I'll go to Columbus and scream "LUNIS-CHAN" until I find you. Then your dad and family and assorted onlookers can jump on me and kick me until the police come to find out why an old man is looking for a young girl.
On second thought, I'll just wave.

My mother is from Ohio. Darke County which is North West of Dayton close to Indiana. Her two sisters and their families live around the area and her brother and his wife live near Columbus. My mother had one sister older than her and a younger brother but they are both dead.
I miss going to Ohio because I have to watch the house for my parents because of the five cats, they don't like other people.

Oops! I forgot I never replied to this. Well, guess what happened? We arrived on July 1st around eleven PM and promptly found out that the fireworks were, in fact, NOT on the 4th of July. *forced smile, complete with gritted teeth and stress mark* They finished a few hours before we arrived. ... What kind of people do 4th of July fireworks on July 1st?!?! So yeah, we missed 'em. We decided to go see Bewitched in theaters to make up for it. But the movie stunk. ^^;; Oh well. It was a fun story to tell, anyway. My grandparents REALLY appreciated our visit. Especially my grandma. She's pretty much housebound, and we took her shopping at a few stores and out to eat. She always gets so emotional when we have to go.
But she's such a sweet lady. ^_^

*blink* I dunno, we live in Columbus and there were plenty of fireworks on the 4th of July... are you talking about the air show? Red White and Boom or something like that. We've lived here 6 years and never gone to it...
You could have gone to the fireworks in Westerville or any other of Columbus' suburbs. I was in Westerville and they were decent enough (I find fireworks boring). It was stupid that they didn't turn off the street lamps though. Silly city laws.

Bewitched wouldn't have been my first choice as a movie to see.
York is the one and only TRUE DARREN!

My brother didn't want to see the Batman movie. -_- That's what the rest of us would have picked. He even admits that he only goes to the movies for the candy. If that's true...why does his opinion even count for anything?! Such a coddled child...
