Japanese sound FXs (help!)

anybody know of a site or somthing that has a list of Japanese sound FXs with the pics? like the stuff you see in manga, but they hardly ever have the english translation. Much thanks in advance :hug: :hug: :thumb: :hug: :dance: :rock: :grin: :)

I don't know of a site, though my Ai Yori Aoshi manga vol. 4 and Nausicaa manga explain alot of it.

that would be very useful but since i don't know how to write in Japanese I'm stuck for now thanks : ). Jeikobo, thanks I'll have to check that out. AnimeDad, not quite what I'm looking for but thanks anyway :thumb:

i know a few myself, so if you have a specific ones i might be able to help you out if you PM me. the site that sunako posted is really good, maybe if you could translate the kana into romanji you could use that. most of those sound effects will be in hiragana, so you could find a hiragana chart and translate it into romanji and then use the site sunako posted. the following is a link to a hiragana chart.

Yah, tokyopop doesn't translate the FXs, but Viz does (if the effects are in jap anyways...)
