well, my mom wants to move... but... im kinda on it 50-50 so to speak

and pretty much my mom's like "its my decision" so to speak, if i decide to clean up the house more, yadda yadda yadda

1. I may apply for a job that i want, that is REAL close to my house.
2. My house is a convenient place for my ride to church on sundays. (i go to a differnet church than my family, and my home is on the way to the church I go to)
3. I am too attached to my home
4. Also in the new home, when ya look outside the front window... its all grassland, like no civilization (although there will be a new development there i believe)
5. the new house is a townhouse (my mom calls it a "luxary townhouse" and it looks really nice, but i like this single home) but backyard, is all... CIVILIZATION

reasons I do want to move:
1. It may be fun, changing houses, and such
2. The kitchen is SO clean and looks nice.
3. We have ants and mice problems in our home.
4. I love REALLY close to a shopping center, so whenever im bored to death i can go rent a movie, get subway, get some chinese food, etc...
5. I'll be closer to some of my friends (while also being farther from my other friends)

i can't really decide, whats really holding me back from wanting to move is number 1 and 2 on the first list... while whats wanting me to move is numbers 1, 3, and 4 on the second list

Remember Mr. SP, my friend, "Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you." (Exodus 20:12)

Pray about the situation. There are goods and bads with both but what does God want you to do? Search his will, he will not hide it from you.

He's got a point MSP. Just pray about it :thumb:

I take it you're just moving to anothe part in town and not to a different town or State.
Moving, epsecially when you have lived in the same place for years, isn't easy for
anyone.

I think the honest fact is: You're 16 and basically you'll move to wherever your mom moves - that's what I'm guessing.

Remember, the Lord will bless you wherever you go and I'm sure you will make the best of it. ~_^ I really hope the best on your move, Mr. Smarty. ^____^

Since you can't decide which you really want the most, why not go with your mother's choice? That's the easiest way to decide.

It was similar with me when I moved. When I moved I changed not only my living residence, but my job, my church, and basically every aspect of my life. Strangely, all the change makes it feel as if I'm now living an alternate universe of my own life. But, most of the changes were for better, and I think my overall life is improved in many aspects since then. My new job, for instance, pays more and doesn't have me baking in this wonderful Texas heat every day like my old job. :shady:
